Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

US Virgin IslandsIt was far from town but the appeal was that it was a tranquil spot.
My apartment was very comfortable and the view was spectacular. Lucian was a very accommodating host and drove me down into Road Town for supplies and ferry drop off for day trips to the other British Virgin Islands and other beaches on Tortola. Although he is running a business so I did pay money for this transportation. But still I enjoyed our conversation regarding various topics. It was an affordable location as a base for day trips to the other islands.

United KingdomIt was isolated without hiring a car or a taxi. Cost of taxi was a quite high. Nowhere to eat out in the area.
The view from the rooftop was great. The suite was comfortable and spacious. The area was quite and away from everything. There was plenty of opportunity to walk out and about in the area. There were no irritating insects.

SwedenLucian is an incredible host - very friendly, helpful and cares about his guests, always responds quickly if there is anything you need. I had to go to meetings during my stay and he offered to drive me which made things a lot easier since I did not have a car and would have had to rely on taxi services otherwise. The location is beautiful, up in the mountains and overlooking the sea, about a 10 minute drive from Road Town. Place has everything you need, definitely worth it for the price that you pay. I would absolutely come back!
