The pool was closed and I do not recall being advised of this before booking or at check-in. Not a huge deal to us personally as the weather was rainy but it would have been nice to know before we booked.

The location is perfect if you want to stay close to the boardwalk in Christianstead. The staff was great and we were able to get a spot in the small on-site guest parking lot for a small nightly fee.

The rooms were limited on sound proofing. We were in room 322 and about 3:00 am on our first night stay the guests in the connecting room came in. It was almost as if they were in our room with us. Them showering, playing the tv and even communication was so loud that we couldn’t fall back off to sleep. Definitely I would suggest work on trying to muffle the noise from the connecting door and the door to the outside as well.

The view looking out over the water every morning and evening was spectacular. Even tho there was construction going on all around the boardwalk was a pleasant walk and being able to see the huge sea bass swimming around the pier was something I really enjoyed.

(1) due to the climate, they need to install dehumidifiers in every room and ensure they are emptied for the arrival of each guest (2) invest in room air fresheners, as the air upon opening the door can smell a little stale (depending on which room you have) (3) Our room needed a desk and chair for laptops. a Must for business people working while on vacation (4) Room telephone lines should be checked for dial tone before each guest arrives (5) the connected bar ( I don't think it is part of the hotel) is a bit dated and somewhat grubby (6) Review of building security should be conducted often. But generally felt safe

I liked the property. It was quiet when we were there. We like that. I liked the staff, especially Miss. Hillary on Reception. She is a sweetheart, so kind and welcoming. I liked the location and the adjacent boardwalk.

The night staff was very open to my concerns about my room when I arrived late at night and the young woman was very accommodating. My room was changed and I couldn't be happier with my new room. The experience I had at Caravelle was absolutely the best!! All staff members are friendly, welcoming, and approachable. I plan to return, and I can't wait!

Our room had a view of the bay, but no balcony or way to open the window, so it was pretty much like looking at a screen saver. The bathroom door is barn style, even when it's closed you still don't have much privacy. Also, the roosters crowing at 5:00 a.m. wasn't wonderful, but they're just wild birds living in the street, certainly not this hotel's fault... they're all over Christiansted.

The location is wonderful, right in the middle of the boardwalk... it's on the waterfront, but it isn't "beachfront". The staff was, without exception, incredibly helpful and attentive. The king size bed was the most comfortable one I think I have ever slept in. The restaurant on the first floor was fantastic, and you have open air restaurants within 20 yards in either direction. Well worth the money spent.

We really enjoyed our stay. I don't have anything to say about what I didn't like. It would have been nice to have free parking but it was worth the $25 to park in a secure, convenient area.

Great location for our visit to the National Park located in Christiansted. The room and bathroom were very spacious, clean, and had all the amenities. The check-in staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very quiet (except for the rooster wondering around outside in the morning). The hotel is close to places to eat but they close by 8:00 PM which unusual.

We came to St. Croix to visit the Christiansted NHS and go to Buck Island. This hotel is perfectly situated by the dock and the NHS plus there were several restaurants in easy walking distance. We had a deluxe oceanfront room and it was spacious and had a great view.

Right across from a loud bar/nightclub, very loud and busy location on the boardwalk. No balcony or windows that open for the Caribbean breeze.

Rooms are large and clean. Staff is very friendly. Convenient downtown location. Good value compared to the rest of the island.

Community and business owners need to cooperate to deal with street trash litter outside of property.

The staff is friendly and caring. Room is updated and bathroom modernized. Oversized shower stall. Mini fridge and microwave in room. A/C. Location on Christiansted boardwalk, Gallows Bay, and Old Town Christiansted core. Common viewing decks overlooking water. Secured parking available. Did a great job on COVID prevention practices.

We were not told at booking that the pool was under construction. That was a disappointment. Also, the room had a little bit of a musty odor.

Nice stay. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Staff was very pleasant. Close to restaurants and a ride boat away from the beach. Casino only has few machines. Overall a great few days vacation for our party of 6.
