Absolutely fantastic Homestay! The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and happy to help with anything you need. The food was delicious as well - great options for breakfast, plus a menu you can order from for lunch and dinner, with vegetarian options as well. Plus, there is a very friendly cat 😊

We miss Cheddar the cat.

Our stay at Green Homestay was perfect. The food was delicious. Exploring the national park on one of their tours was an unforgettable experience, though it's worth noting it requires a good level of fitness. Our room was cozy, and the pool provided a refreshing escape from the heat. We couldn't get enough of the friendly animals, especially Cheddar the orange cat, who became our best buddy once we discovered his passion for sunflower seeds (you need to crack them open before giving them to him, of course).

Lovely family owned Homestay that go out of their way to help you make the most of your visit to Cat Ba. Mr. Win perfectly organized our tour and bus trip afterwards: no waiting around or uncertainty where to go etc. Book your tours through them! The pool was great, location a bit away from Cat Ba city which was perfect for us: very easily accessible by scooter/taxi. Rooms were comfortable with the best shower/towels we have had in a while. Washing was done quickly and breakfast had lots of options. Great stay, thank you!

The accommodation and grounds were really nice. They presentation of the bungalows around the pool were just beautiful. They had such a great selection of tours and organised all our transports to and from Hanoi with them all running so smoothly. The host were very friendly and accommodating.

Mr Win was the best! I forgot my walkingshoes in Ha Giang. Win helped me to get them back just in one day! It was very easy to book tours, a buss or a motorbike from there. It's a nice place four friends, couples or a family. I would really recommend this place!

The wet showers are challenging to use but it’s normal in Vietnam. Just be prepared.

The bungalows were very cute and cozy. The staff was great in handling tours and transfers. They even preordered seafood for us so we can enjoy it in their restaurants that evening. We liked being away from the main center and used motorcycles to get around.

Green homestay is on the outskirts of Cat Ba town in a very quiet area. The homestay itself is beautifully set up around a central pool area. My room was a nice size and overlooked the pool. The staff were amazing all around. The breakfast was included in the price and was slighty underwhelming. The towels were changed every day which is nice given the pool and beaches. I used one of their scooters every day for small fee to check out the island and go into town. keep an eye on your gas levels!

Breakfast was quite basic, the rooms could have been cleaner, there was a lot of dust and bits under the beds.

I loved how calm and chilled it was at Green home stay. After a very busy two weeks travelling we extended our stay at green home stay to really unwind. The food was delicious, the staff were amazingly helpful. Staff managed to arrange early check in as we had arrived so early. The pool was beautiful, the grounds of the hole stay are exactly as pictured. Gorgeous views, beautiful surroundings and honestly just so quiet and relaxing.

The family was so friendly and helpful. This is the best Homestay we’ve had so far. You can book trips with them and it has a fair price. The motorbikes to rent are also well taken care off.

Everyone was nice and lovely. They booked everything for us. The plankton excursion was amazing. The garden with the swinning pool is lovely. You really feel at home ! I recommend a hundred pourcent !

Everything was absolutely amazing, staff always helpful, they arranged for us motorbikes and kayaking trip around bay, rooms are clean and surrounding is stunning, we enjoyed our stay there and it was one of our best accommodation ever, can definitely recommend you will enjoy it a lot.

We were unlucky with the weather when we stayed and unfortunately this meant the room was slightly damp. It may be useful to have heaters for when it is rainy and cold.

Beautiful location and views. Lovely pool area and dining area. The bungalows were spacious and very light with the large windows. We also enjoyed that there was a pool table. We had dinner there each night and the food was delicious. The breakfast was also excellent - great banana pancakes and even better that breakfast is included in the stay! We were able to rent motorbikes for free to go around the island. They gave good recommendations of where to go and organised our Ha Long Bay boat tour for us. Those working at the homestay were so nice and the host mentioned he was only looking after the place while his brother was away. He went over and above to ensure we enjoyed our stay so we were very surprised to hear he was only covering. Greatly appreciated his hospitality! Overall a lovely experience and would definitely stay here again.

Mr Whin who organised everything.Great trips and transfers,which all went smoothly. Off the main road,perfect oasis. Great room with the added bonus of a swimming pool. Food available at the homestay.
