Morning cleaning staff in floors dose loud sounds with their talks and gears regardless person is sleeping or not they all loud and banging doors talking loud in corridors super noisy

Checking process they treating every one with big suspicion and they way ask to take deposit from your credit card They saying we will deposit back the money but when I ask deposit will come back to my account they say 20 days I found bit unpleasant

Had to argue with the receptionist, my experience was that she didn’t believe that we had booked with half board, meals twice a day. It appears to be a twist between the hotel and booking.com. Still we got vouchers for one special kind of Combo, even if we suggested to pay more or less, we could only had that one kind. Still we only got one voucher to share. As wrote it was a twist between the hotel and booking.com BUT the rigidity, and for start the impoliteness was very unpleasant.

No black tea in the room! I had to get it from the restaurant where I would be given two unwrapped teabags at a time!

The beds were a good size, the bathroom was also nice and large. The complimentary foot massage and meal was a nice touch

The hotel shares communal facilities with a sister hotel, so a lot of people who are staying at the budget hotel are allowed to enjoy the higher-end hotel... Only one lift, so very slow. Pool area is very dated and far too small for the number of people in the hotel. Maintenance that could be done in quiet hours was continuing during busy time. Restaurant/bar staff were exceptional, reception staff were a bit short at times, and definitely not enough people at reception for busy times - we were always waiting in a queue to ask even small questions. Bell boys were very friendly and welcoming!

Location was great for first visit, rooms were lovely, classic style and good bathrooms too. Good happy hour, and live music was very good.

The pool did not live up to the images. It was small and didn't look particularly clean. The location of the jacuzzi was in the bar area so not inviting or relaxing.

The room was lovely and spacious. Bed was hard! We enjoyed our stay and the free cocktails and chips were a treat each evening. The view from the top was amazing.

The rooms were nice, but I felt the hotel was in it for the cash grab. The property had this list of things they *might* charge extra for if you leave stains in the bed and one of them was blood. It was just a really weird thing to write and list, and they had more as well. They also allowed late check out but they wouldn't honor how much you bought the hotel for on booking.com, so you had to use their current hotel price which is obviously more expensive. The pool was also weirdly located, like half of the pool was covered by the concrete floor that made up level 11. The hand holder thing was not strong nor was it good. I also cut open my toe rather badly in the jacuzzi on one of the ragged sharp tile.

Nice bed, nice room. They upgraded us to a different room but i think hotels should not do this unless they ask the guests first because I originally booked one with a window room and was given a room with no windows. Location was good

We were advised by reception we would be staying in a non-smoking room but as soon as we walked in, the room smelled like cigarettes and I immediately felt sick and dizzy.

It was very central, you could walk or take a grab anywhere else. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The carpet in the hotel needs to be clean and shampooed. It looks dated and dirty.

The location is great! The service from the staff was excellent, ever wanting to help wherever possible.

The hotel was not as big and gorgeous as I imagined from the photos. Cleaning service comes around 8:30 which I found a bit too early. Sometimes the cigarette odor comes into the room maybe from other rooms(?) despite the hotel were non-smoking.

Very clean everyday, convenient location that you can walk to most of the places, many cafes nearby, big bathtub, delicious breakfast with various options, foot massage here was the best, afternoon tea offered, friendly staff.

I do understand that it was a busy weekend but quite a few things were off. I arrived on time and was told to wait. I waited for a while until I had to leave and come back. We called 3 times to get a room clean on Saturday. One of the towels they left still had visible stains on it. For the price, the room didn’t have plugs on both sides of the bed. We paid a deposit for an breakage or any things we purchase, I was then told on check out that money will only be refunded after 3 days. This was only communicated to us when checking out. We’ve stayed at Alagon multiple times and have never been asked for a deposit, we usually pay when we check out.

The breakfast and afternoon tea were amazing and great value for money. It’s located to all the great places in D1 and it’s a short ride most other districts. The staff were helpful at times and the room was good. The foot massage was both relaxing and soothing. The staff at the Spa were friendly and welcoming.

We needed two rooms which was okay but we were put on different floors. It would have been more convenient to be all put on the same floor. Also, we only had one key per room, and this limited us in how we could come & go, eg if one wanted to go upstairs for a swim while the other wanted to go out shopping.

A beautiful hotel in which to relax with very clean & airconditioned rooms. A great retreat when the heat is too much. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety to cover everyone's taste. Afternoon tea was an added bonus after a morning spent sightseeing, shopping or swimming in the roof top pool. The rooms were also excellent, very clean and roomy. The staff could not be faulted - friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel and city as a great place to explore and relax.

Really enjoyable stay here, clean room and comfortable bed. Centrally located with nice pool, sauna and steam room to enjoy after a day exploring. The selection of food provided at breakfast was excellent. Staff helpful and friendly. Would recommend this hotel.

Not enough beds around the pool

The hotel was lovely just as advertised it was very clean and comfortable. They gave us a better room as the first one didnt have a very good view.Staff were lovely annd couldnt help you enough The breakfast was very good with lots of choice and plentiful .We had to leave early one morning for a flight and they even made us a takeaway breakfast .Would recommend staying here as it was excellent value for money .
