This hostel is absolutely not a party hostel.. But I think it wouldn't hurt to give some music for boosting the mood of everyone there.. 😉

I stayed there for 3 nights in d mid of March 2024.. What I liked most was the responsiveness of the owner to help and give you sights of the things that you need, not the things that normally other travelers do.. The breakfast even enough to energize you to do activities the whole day.. The bed is wider for one person.. The WiFi connection is strong enough.. The rooms are cleaned every day.. There are 2 common rooms: the first floor and the top floor. And Ha is a really understandable person. I booked for a bed in mixed dorm, but since he saw my physical weakness, he gave me the lower bed on female dorm..

Owner really cares and constantly improves the place, you see that it's a new hostel and stuff gets constantly upgraded. Feedback gets taken serious and applied. Very knowledgeable and helpful as well. Calm area, still good location buses to city close by (only if you stay out late, buses don't go too late) Extended quite a bit here, stayed around 10 days.

Hahn is a great host. Breakfast was small but vegetarian and therefore considerate of dietary restrictions.

At first, they put the wrong rates of the hostel and they just informed me days before our trip. However, the problem has been settled.

The room that we avail is the private room, which is so spacious. The room is also clean as well as the sheets. They clean the room on a regular basis. The location of the hostel is really on the quiet alley. Very accessible to the airport. The shops are a few minutes walk. Mr Ha, the owner, is also helpful with the guests and very patriotic. The breakfast is also good, very tasty! Overall, I really enjoyed our stay in this hostel. One of my memorable experiences for this year.

Only few other interesting visitors... But the problem of bathroom being always full is always the same with female dorms...

It's very clean and peaceful, also the female dorm was a surprise! I also love that there's a very useful shelf. The roof is very comfy to hangout in the evenings as well.

I arrived very late due to my delayed flight, but still the owner kindly welcomed me. It's the best hostel I've been in Vietnam, you'll notice right from the entrance the level of cleaning. And the dorm was just so nice, spacious, large beds with curtains and modern bathroom. Next time I'll definitely stay longer!

Since I am only here for one night, I can't say exactly what I didn't like. In any case, the access road is too narrow for taxis

I really liked the decor. When I was searching through Booking.com, the white decor of the room immediately caught my eye and the fact that breakfast is included in the price is also a plus point

While the hostel is situated in a small alley in a non-touristic district, we stayed in the room directly above the lobby and the common bathroom (1st floor) and thus couldn't sleep well. We slept terrible due to the hourly clock sounds, screaming children and people using the common bathroom or having breakfast downstairs. Unfortunately, the mattresses were pretty hard. Using fingerprints to (un-)lock the door also gave us some trouble, but that's just how technology sometimes works.

The very kind and hard working host Mr. Hà shows genuine interest in you and can help you in probably any matter! We liked to chill at rooftop in the evening and also loved the free water refill & that we could store some fruits/cake in the lobby fridge. The room was also quite modern and had everything we needed. It was my boyfriend's birthday while we stayed in Saigon, so Mr. Hà invited us for some Saigon beer. He also provided us with free drinks/snacks whenever we returned to the hostel. When we forgot our hiking boots, he sent them to our accommodation in Hanoi and didn't want anything in return. Cám ơn chú nhiều! When it comes to homestays and hostel, we value the hospitality of the host the most. Therefore, we would still recommend this hostel to everyone who starts their journey in Saigon, despite the below mentioned shortcomings (that are partly typical for Saigon, e.g., the noise and poor soundproofing).

The owner is very helpful, we arrived at an odd hour but he graciously welcomed us and gave us a very clean room, he is very polite in nature. The room itself was super neat & clean and the sheets smelled awesome, we got the best sleep of our entire vacation in this place. Highly recommended!

I literally loved everything of it. It’s a new hotel, spotless, typical Vietnamese breakfast was delicious, there is a common area downstairs in case you have to wait to take your plane or whatever. We only stayed for a night but I wish we stayed longer. Last but not least, the owner was incredibly helpful, he gave us so many recommendations and tips for our trip. Definitely stay here if you come to Ho Chi Minh!

Great place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere outside the tourist hotspot. Great local food options and a short 10 min grab to town, depending on traffic. The host was incredible! His knowledge was great and took the time to have a 15 min conversation about Vietnam’s history. Each morning there is a different option for brekkie too! I would definitely stay again!

It wasn't an issue for me, but the walls in the room are quite thin and everything that takes place in the bathroom can be heard in the bedroom. If you are a super light sleeper without earplugs this might be bothersome.

Lovely, well-cared for hostel with an incredibly hospitable team of folks running it. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the breakfast was delicious. The owner is a kind and conscientious host who I shared some really great conversations with. He is a wealth of knowledge and I really appreciated the time he takes to acquaint himself with the people staying there. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this location to anyone visiting.

No lift but it’s okay

Everything was perfect! I had the best time there and I’ve met so many amazing people. The owner is such a great person, very caring and sweet. The hostel is spotlessly clean and super new. The beds are so comfy you don’t even feel like you’re in a hostel and yummy breakfast is included every morning. Honestly the best hostel ever!

Make sure you let Ha know what time you arrive if you first arrive late, and then have the code for the door if you're ever coming back really late at night or you could get locked out by accident!!

Ha is the best host we have probably ever had. He is an ex tour guide and you can tell that a) he knows his stuff and b) he loves what he does. He helped us plan parts of our trip both while at the hostel and after we left via text. He knows real hidden gems and will give you really relevant suggestions for your trip. I can write the whole review about how great Ha was but I'll say a thing or two about the place too. The location is good, close to bus stops, ATMs, great local street food and drinks. It's also quiet and not touristy. The hostel is clean, brand new, each dorm is lockable by pin and each bed inside the dorm had a safety box with a lock - in our dorm everyone felt safe enough to not even use the locked boxes. There is good Aircon, safe drinking water for free, and a rooftop. The breakfast is delicious, fresh and changes daily. At this point it probably sounds like a fake review but we were genuinely this impressed - if you're staying in HCM and are looking for somewhere to stay, for this money (and probably much more), I don't believe it possible to find something better than Ha's place.
