We were a family of 4 in a big room with 2 double beds and 1 little kitchen. Everything super clean and well kept. Overall cte and well decorated, keeping Vietnamese soul. The staff in the reception always smiling and helpful. Location very convenient

Our bathroom was tiny. Two people can’t fit in it at once, but it was clean so it wasn’t too bad. It added to the quirkiness of the place as it’s all quite narrow. We thought the cafe downstairs served food but it doesn’t. Not a complaint, just an FYI.

Lovely room, great coffee at the cafe downstairs - try the coconut coffee! There is an elevator too. Nga was lovely! We had plenty of laughs with her trying to learn Vietnamese words and phrases. She always made us feel so welcome. The property is fairly central too. Only a 10-15 minute walk from busier areas and nice and quiet. Good laundry service too.

The bathroom in the smaller rooms takes some flexibility. You'll need to remove your toilet paper before showering to avoid soaking it, and you need to be careful to only have water proof bathroom products in there while showering. This can all be seen clearly from photos and it wasn't a problem, but it is something to think about if you're someone who likes to spread out and get ready in the bathroom every morning without having to repack your stuff before showering.

Anam was a great little property! Super unique, clean, and in a wonderful location right around the corner from 419, a fantastic little speakeasy bar. If you can book the bigger room, we highly recommend it, but for a few nights the smaller one is fine! This hotel does have traditional Vietnamese mattresses, so if you aren't okay with something firm you may want to shop around. But the property was super cute, clean, and a great base for us!

Just such a cool place to stay. The owner and staff were very friendly. It had great drinks down the bottom. It's in a very local neighbourhood which made the trip so much more enjoyable. It's close to anything and our grandkids loved playing soccer with the local neighbourhood kids. The air-conditioning was a life saver in the heat. Would definitely stay again.

It's quite small but perfectly manageable.

Great location. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Useful to have the kitchenette and to have the two bedrooms separated (although the wall between the two is not full there is a door and a partial wall).

Can’t think of anything I didn’t like at Anam.

This kitchen equipped homestay is a couple of blocks from everywhere for the first time traveller, yet on a quiet block of its own. This was our third time staying with Anam while we completed dental treatments in Saigon so it really had become a bit like ‘home’. We found, this time around, that most of what we needed was literally on our own block. Com tam on the corner (get in early because they sell out). Coffee? Take your pick of local coffee shops. We liked the mom and pop operation at Trung Nguyen, No. 1. Fruit lady had the BEST mangoes just around the corner. Two incredible organic and international grocery stores cross the road and around the corner. We loved ROOTS and Mekong Gourmet. Anyway, for an affordable and comfortable, self contained homestay, we highly recommend.

Great location and quiet, given where it is located. The room was small but clean and had everything that I needed for a 2 night stay. My flight was delayed but Jill had someone waiting for me at midnight to show me into my room. That was really so nice. Thank you!

Not an issue for us but you the TV didn't have any foreign channels, only youtube.

We were a little concerned about staying above a coffee shop with regards to noise but we were pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony. The room was spacious and clean with a full equipped kitchen. The location was great and surprisingly not noisy at all. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Property was in a nice location near Benh Thanh Market. Also had laundry services and room cleaning services. The homestay was pretty safe and secure at night too. Best part was the room is really big! Complete amenities with mini ref, microwave, toiletries, hairdryer, towels, room slippers, tableware, balcony, 2 aircon, 2 fans, smart tv, hot shower and bidet. And the staff was very helpful :-) We arrived from the airport late and staff waited for us for so long (sorry again!). Overall will recommend this place to my friends when they visit Saigon!

Very clean, comfortable and easy to find. Bed was comfy, bathroom was very clean and Wi-Fi connection was great. The hotel is above a great coffee shop and a 5-15 minute walk from markets/museums etc
