Everything was perfect The food the best we have tasted since in Vietnam Location perfect and they organised an electrics car to pick us up to tour the citadel which in 37 degree heat was a life saver.

The beautiful architecture of the resort and the exceptional helpful staff especially Như Que made my stay especially memorable..they are ever willing to organise your daily visits and the breakfast and complimentary dinner was really something special . Bravo!

We had a wonderful stay at Ancient Garden Houses. Rooms in the ancient part of the hotel are simply stunning, very spacious and comfortable. The food was delicious and everyone was incredibly kind. We can only recommend and wish we had stayed longer, as this was one of the nicest hotels we stayed during our 4 weeks travel across Vietnam.

I wish I stayed longer! Nothing to dislike

Beautiful hotel with impeccable details and service, accommodating and friendly staff. They had a separate vegan menu that was authentically Vietnamese and delicious! Classical aesthetics with modern amenities - this hotel was even better than the pictures and exceeded my expectations. I will definitely stay again and for a longer stay!

Stunning room’s absolutely beautiful! Traditional Hue palace style! Felt like a king for a night! This was the highlight our Vietnam travels and I highly recommend it! Amazing staff who are attentive and had good English skills! The food, decor and facilities are excellent!

The road access to the property is pretty difficult at the moment due to construction. Taxis would either get lost or refuse to come up the road. It's just a temporary issue though which should be fixed once the road is completed.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff couldn't do enough for me and the entire property is beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and the view from the restaurant was a really nice way to start the day. Unfortunately the weather was pretty bad while I was there so I couldn't make the most of it but the pool looks lovely.

The Door to the room did not feel secure. Additionally the Door was not soundproof and overall the room was not sound proof . Fair warning for Couple looking for a quiet and private room. your neighbors can hear a low tone conversation for sure. Additionally we did have an accident where a ceramic shampoo bottle in the shower was dropped and broke ceramic shards all over the shower floor. This happened maybe at around midnight or later. We did call the front desk but nobody answered. It turns out the only staff members around late at night is the security for the resort. i am not sure how many employees that is but it did not inspire confidence in me. The Staff security member did come to our room to clean up the broken ceramic shard but he was not able to do a good job cleaning and shard were left still unfortunately. This was indeed an accident due to our fault and i was happy to pay the 100,000 vnd to cover the replacement of the shampoo bottle. My only issue is that i think the hotel should consider having more staff on hand at night and additionally all the shower and bath soaps and body washes should be placed in plastic containers for a more safety.

Customer Service was very Good. All of the Staff were very Hospitable. The Hotel location is very good if you want to experience Ancient hue as the name suggests. Very close to the Ancient Capitol. The breakfast was exceptional. They prepare meals for you from a set menu and you can have any item among the selection and they will also allow you to order multiple options. They offer meals for any taste. I would recommend the Vietnamese options as they make them very well. The room Decoration really turns the clock back in time to ancient hue while also offering modern Luxuries and comforts. Comfortable bed and clean room and Bathroom.

The hotel is a bit remote from other parts of Hue, but a decent walk to the Citadel is well worth it. Otherwise hotel is more than happy to arrange transport.

The hotel is beautiful with traditional Vietnamese styling from the moment you enter. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming and helped us with all your questions and requests.

Tiny things only. The hotel is a little difficult to find for some drivers - the roads can be extremely narrow and hard to navigate. But once you arrive it's 100% worth it. You will not be disappointed!

This was by far the best place we stayed in Vietnam. Everything was perfect. The food was excellent, from the complimentary breakfast (the "bun bo hue" was especially good) to the imperial 7-course dinner in traditional costume. The rooms were spectacularly decorated, and this hotel is perhaps the only place to stay in Hue which appropriately conveys the former majesty and grandeur of Imperial Vietnam at its height. While unfortunately for us it rained constantly for all 3 days we were in Hue, this hotel was so comfortable and perfect that this barely mattered once we returned from the city. Nonetheless, they lent us umbrellas, helped arrange taxis, and offered a complimentary 30 minute welcome package at the on-site spa. They also provide a complimentary range of Vietnamese New Years' treats and teas upon arrival. We loved every moment!
