Restaurant should rather focus on what they are doing excellent at breakfast: Typical Vietnamese dishes. Western-Asian fusion does not fully live up to either.

Think the menu needs to be revised. It’s extensive but we all struggled to find something we wanted to eat on night two. Maybe focus back on more local foods - like simple chicken or prawns with noodles or rice, pomelo salads etc. Pizza was not very good. Music at supper could also be a bit more chilled. All minor things though. Would highly recommend the hotel.

An oasis of calm after a busy day sight seeing in Hue. Property very tastefully decorated, polished concrete floors, white linen curtains, comfy four poster beds with great pillows and duvet. Children loved the huge pond with Koi and the three peacocks wandering free around the ground. Staff could not have been more helpful or charming, always promptly replying on WhatsApp to book restaurants and taxis etc.

We loved everything about the hotel. The breakfasts were great, the staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff went out of their way to make our stay as pleasurable as possible. There was always a little home baked treat with the turn down service each evening. There is a lot of attention to detail at this hotel. The restaurant at the hotel offers quality food if you don’t want to venture too far. The spa here is excellent. The hotel is situated in beautiful gardens and is a pleasure to return to after a days outing. Our bed was extremely comfortable which is important when you are travelling. A very enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay again if we visit Hue.

An absolute gem located within a beautiful garden! Everything from the kind communication before the stay, to the warm welcome at the hotel was just perfect. The entire stay was a perfect getaway and the whole team is super passionate to ensure that all guests have a truly memorable experience. I loved the view from the balcony just as much as being able to read a book in their library. Especially the daily yoga classes before breakfast were a beautiful way to start into the day. Even though the hotel is not close to the city centre, there are plenty of sights in close proximity (Tomb of Khai Dinh, Tomb of Tu Duc, and also the abandoned water park). And of course using grab or a taxi the city is only a short drive away. When staying at aNhill make sure to not only visit their restaurant AMA but also to enjoy a treatment at the XOA spa. I hope I will have another chance to stay there sometime soon. A big thank you to everyone who made this stay an absolute highlight of my trip to Vietnam!

Nothing, the place was immaculate

From the moment we entered AnHill you could feel a sense of serenity! Check in and out was easy and fuss free and every staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. We went during a time where the staffs were in the midst of a staff retreat but we never felt like anything was lacking at all. I love the meticulous detail from the names in front of our rooms to a personalised embossed letter upon check out. Room service and breakfast was amazing too!

Impossible to improve anything already beyond all expectations.

This place is absolutely EXCEPTIONAL. My husband and I have had the opportunity to travel a lot and visit wonderful hotels around the world, and this place is by far among the top three we have ever visited. Every single thing about it is beyond excellent (especially the wonderful staff) but what sets it apart is the level of attention to details. Apart from Hue being a great place to visit, the hotel is a dream destination in itself, and if you have the opportunity, please do yourself a favor and do not miss the chance to enjoy this piece heaven on earth.

ANHill is a truly exceptional world class boutique hotel. The location is nice and peaceful in exquisitely landscaped and manicured gardens with bonsai trees, koi ponds and a meditation area. The hotel provides a complimentary luxury minibus service to Hue for all the tourist attractions. The hotel interior is beautifully designed with lots or original artwork and sculptures. The bedrooms are huge, comfortable and very well fitted out. The restaurant and food are fantastic with all food cooked to order from the freshest of local ingredients. The cocktails are out of this world! Try the cantaloupe melon and rosemary creation. The spa is expensive when compared to the street salons in Hue but the two just don’t compare. The hotel spa is an oasis of calm with a wonderful ambiance while the therapists are highly skilled. Finally, saving the best for last, the staff are simply superb. They are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They are all experts at what they do and always have a smile. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

I don’t think the hotel should be charging what it does for water and rather they should just give that for free or not add a 10 per cent service charge or tax on it - other than that the hotel is perfect

absolutely stunning hotel. such attention to detail in terms of design and architecture. the rooms were also huge! the staff were so helpful; I had an issue with my internal flight which they helped to resolve immediately. and they are so attentive and friendly. the location is slightly further away from city centre but it’s nice to be away from the busy centre and it’s easy to get a cab. the hotel also organise the tour trips to the tomb. it’s also such good value for money. I’ve travelled a lot and this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. a must stay. the pool is also gorgeous. breakfast is also amazing! it’s not a buffet but there’s a great selection of Vietnamese and also non Vietnamese food

Wow! This is probably the nicest hotel I’ve ever visited and I’m well traveled. Exceptional staff and owner. The food was excellent, the bar so inviting, spa treatment fabulous. it really is difficult to think of anything that can be improved. The location is a little farther from the city center, but don’t let that deter you. it’s an easy cab ride and when you return to the peace & serenity of this property, you’ll be so happy you with your decision. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Thank you to all the staff and hotel owner, Tien!! 🙏. I hope to return again.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner were all elegantly presented. The food and selection of dishes seemed a bit too safe, a bit boring, even bland = "international hotel". The chef, undoubtedly highly skilled, should be allowed to show more personality and inventiveness in her/his creations.

Lovely staff, very friendly, very efficient. Spacious, luxurious garden. Well designed, very comfortable rooms. Peacefull surroundings - the distance from the noisy center of Hue proved to be a plus: much greenery around; walks along quiet backi streets; some hidden coffee shops; a charming tea house nearby (phantastic tea, food, atmosphere); the abandoned water palace in walkable distance along back roads.

Extremely relaxed property. Great restaurant. Looks maintained properly and operated by a great group of people who definitely know what they are doing. We’ve stayed in many good hotels all over the world but this will definitely make it in our top 3. Hidden gem if you ask me! It’s just a 15min taxi ride away from the center ($6). If you want to be close to the buzz of Hué but also like to sleep well i’d suggest to book this hotel! They also offer a superb luxury limousine service to Da Nang airport and for guided tours to the tourist attractions Hué has to offer. The Spa is amazing as well, so is the yoga session every morning by Mr Lap! Will come back here when we travel to Vietnam for sure.

I really don't know where to start...It was amazing! We had the most relaxing and best time in Hue, thanks to this beautiful hotel with an amazing staff team. Thank you so much for making our trip so memorable. Since it's not in the centre of Hue (although, they provide a daily free shuttle in the city) it was very quiet and relaxing, the spa was the best we have visited so far in this world! We had a big room, big balcony, big shower - all in, it was super comfortable. The food was outstanding, the staff was super attentive and helpful. We can absolutely recommend this hotel!

There’s not one bad thing that could come to mind about this hotel

Absolutely stunning location, an oasis of relaxation minutes away from the chaos of Hue. Excellent customer care with lots of attention to detail. The restaurant in the hotel offers one of the best meals we had in all our trip along Vietnam, offering local dishes with a fine dining twist as well as western dishes beautifully prepared and presented.

Went too fast!

A very nice luxury and understated hotel tastefully decorated with a mix of local antiques and contemporary elements. The environment is very relaxing and peaceful with a beautiful garden, pond and swimming pool. Most famous cultural sites are only 15mins drive away and you can also easily cycle to many of them. Finally a very nice and helpful staff with a great SPA (book therapists Mr. Lap or Ms. Duyen).

The hotel is stunning! The staff were amazing - so friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were beautiful - extremely comfortable bed, lots of space, bath etc. Great food at breakfast and for dinner/lunch.
