The Spa could do with a refresh and improvement, decor very tired and shower room not properly functional, this has nothing to do with the staff in the Spa. They are lovely and attentive, sadly you can only work with the tools your given.

Breakfast was fine, staff were excellent and lovely. The owner of this hotel should be very proud of his employees.

Convenient location in the old quarter. Excellent support from the front desk (Mary, Khuông,tu). We asked if they have sticky rice one morning, they said they don’t have it but quickly went to the shop near by and get us some. Little gesture like that make us to come back to this hotel in the future.

Extremely polite and helpful staff, we were made to feel very welcome. The location is very good if you are looking to be right in the old quarter and everything is within walking distance. A helpful welcome packet is also provided with suggested restaurants and helpful tips for your visits.

We only stayed for one night but would have stayed longer if we hadn’t already booked a trip. Staff were very helpful and polite. Bed was comfy, breakfast was delicious. Hotel arranged an airport pick up for us which was reasonable and we paid via hotel, very convenient.

The staff were friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond to help. The breakfast was really good - every day they offered very similar, but everything was really good quality. You could also order off a menu. They provided a map with key locations and recommendations of where to eat or drink.

On checking in after a long flight, the twin room we booked wasn't available, and we were given a double room for the night. The staff were very apologetic and tried their best to rectify the situation and generously gave a small discount on checking out, which we appreciated.

Very well finished rooms, fantastic location central to Hanoi old quarter - less than 5 minutes walk from Hoan Kiem lake. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice for all diets. We arrived early on 29 Feb, very tired and jet lagged. The staff were so welcoming and although we were too early to check into our room, made space for us to shower and freshen up. The staff noticed that 29 Feb was also my husband’s birthday and when we returned later that day to check into our room properly, surprised us with a cake and song. They’d clearly gone well above and beyond to mark the day totally unprompted.

The room didn't have a window so no natural light. The sound proofing isn't the best and at times we could hear running water through the building or people outside in the hallway.

The hotel is in a great location and is within walking distance to Hoàn Kiếm Lake and many eateries. The room was small but this may be the case for a lot of hotels in Hanoi. The beds were very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel offers a small breakfast buffet which includes Bánh cuốn, fruit, cereal and toast. For the buffet you can also order eggs and pancakes (which they make fresh for you) and a few other drinks. The hotel also has a shower that you can use after checking out. They will also provide towels for the shower. There is a spa located downstairs and you will need to book through the hotel lobby. The spa staff are external to the hotel and only speak Vietnamese. The spa looks different to the pictures and is a little run down. Despite this the massage was still good.

Overall, this is an excellent hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are in good condition and efficiently cleaned by the housekeeping staff while you're out. The breakfast offering is very diverse, and the staff strives to ensure a wide selection is always available. Noteworthy is the option to place individual orders such as pancakes or eggs with the breakfast staff, traditional Vietnamese dishes like Pho are also available. The hotel's location is extremely central, with attractions such as Hoan Kiem Lake or St. Joseph Cathedral easily accessible on foot. Additionally, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the immediate vicinity.

Great location at the edge of the old town. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We went back and forth a few times as we had trip with overnight stays and they stored bags for us and welcomed us back every time.

Everything --from the very nice and helpful staff to the rooms that looked exactly as advertised, to the breakfast that offered a lot of variety including local dishes, and the best fruit selection. And also the mattress! We had a super early departure flight and they packed breakfast for us to take, which was such a thoughtful gesture.
