Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

JapanIt was a little hot on the 4th floor 10 minutes after back home. There came some bugs and lizards into the room through the bottom of the door. They had no elevator so you have to go upstairs on foot with your heavy luggage’s.
Cleanness was good. The washing machine and drying machine were helpful. I could also enjoy YouTube on TV.

AustraliaWe ended up with 2 family rooms on different floors instead of a queen and a triple. Not a deal breaker because our kids are teens but not ideal. Bathrooms were surface cleaned, but had mould stains and a questionable smell. Rooms were definitely NOT soundproof as we could hear the guests upstairs talking and drinking until 3am.
Great location a short walk to the dragon bridge and night markets. Rooms were very large compared to other rooms we have stayed in in Vietnam. Nice to have a lounge to sit on as well as the bed. Free 20litre filtered water outside each room to refill water bottles was a lovely surprise not offered anywhere else we stayed.

FranceThe hotel has two addresses, so be careful when you book at taxi, because we nearly missed ours. Otherwise, It would be nice is the staff tell you this so you can be careful. I think the photos do not correspond to the reality, at least our room walls were not as white as in the photos.
Friendly staff, we only spend one night and it was good. Attractive price and close to the dragon bridge.

United KingdomHowever, while the location and breakfast were highlights, I must admit that the apartment itself did not meet my expectations. While it was adequate for my needs, I couldn’t shake the feeling that it fell short of being one of the best accommodations available. The amenities were functional but somewhat outdated, and the overall ambiance lacked a certain level of charm or sophistication that I’ve experienced in other homestays. The bathroom wasn’t in great conditions.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience, albeit with a few aspects that could be improved. Let’s start with the positives. The location of the homestay was fantastic, offering easy access to the dragón bridge, the night market. I found this particularly convenient as it allowed me to explore the area without any hassle. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delightful. The variety offered catered to different tastes, and the quality was commendable. It was a great way to kickstart my morning before heading out for the day.

PhilippinesNone so far. The place is good and gives a reasonable value for the price.
The location is great, just a few minutes from Da Nang International Airport, a walking distance to the Dragon Bridge and is near My Khe beach. It also not that far from Ba Na Hills. The staff are also helpful and polite to guests. Appreciate as well the abundant free service drinking waters.

AustraliaThe room looked quite different from the photographs. It was a lot darker and was less homely than I thought.
I was here for one night. The staff were very kind and served a simple, but wonderful breakfast. The hostess worked hard to get me a taxi at a local rate and really looked out for her guests. The air-con worked well and kept the humidity at bay. It was REALLY close to the Dragon Bridge which was amazing to see.

AustraliaTv didn’t work. Furniture a bit run down. Bed on the firm side. None of these things were deal breakers for us. For the very fair price we paid for our family of 5 it was an excellent choice.
Prime location. Right opposite dragon bridge. Excellent to watch the dragon fire show on Friday, Saturday or Sunday nights. They offer a delicious egg Banh mi for breakfast. Even though it’s on the main street the room was super quiet at night. Spacious room. Aircon works great and plenty of hot water. Highly recommend for those in tight budget.

HungaryThey’ve no heating which is quite uncomfortable in the rainy season as our clothes never become dry.
Very cheap accommodation near the dragon bridge. Location is really good, it seems to be a loud neighborhood but around 11pm it becomes silent. The owner was a very lovely lady who made really great breakfasts in the morning and even though she doesn’t really speak language, she is very helpful if you need a ride, a day trip or anything else.
