The staff are truly incredible at the Black Ship. They work so hard, and are so friendly. They go above and beyond to help you and make it a memorable stay. The room was beautiful and the views are spectacular. I hope to return again one day.

The only downside is, that it is like 30min away from the city center and quite hard to reach. But it is totally worth it, because of the very beautiful nature. Also you can rent motorbikes to go to town.

So far the best stay we had on our trip through Vietnam. The hotel is very cosy and stylish. The room was specious, beautifully designed and had a fantastic view over the valley. The staff is exceptionally nice and very obliging. Food and drinks are tasty and fresh.

Black Ship Sapa is a great place for me to relax and visit this Sapa tourist area. The staff here are very enthusiastic and attentive, and the service is good. Everyone should try the dishes here, full of Vietnamese flavor

Not really, even with the not-so-perfect location, it can be easily resolved by a cheap taxi trip (~10min) from the city centre. The value you receive from here way more outweighs that little tiny thing.

Basically almost everything! Blackship is not at the centre of Sapa city so it's not really ideal in terms of location/transportation but the hurdle to the experience is so tiny as a water drop to the ocean. Honestly, IMO it's the real advantage the Blackship can offer: wonderful scenery view, cheap services and friendly staff. We were recommended to try the Red-Dao's herbal bath and it really turned up my feeling/mood after a tiring long trip. We ordered a BBQ combo set for our family with not much expectation because we know how it should be normally in this area and it turned out to be the best dinner we've ever had (at least with my recent memory). You can't imagine the feeling of enjoying that special dinner after relaxing with the herbal bath. I can't find any words to describe it (I'm sorry, you must try to feel it). I've got to know we can order special local cuisines but didn't have a chance to try it. We will definitely come back here again for that!

We weren't there in the best time so it was very misty. But we still enjoyed our stay very much.

The staff helped us in anyway possible. Was always there to help us where needed. The food was really great, so was the service. The room was extremely comfortable and good shower. We did a 1 day trekking with someone from the red Dao tribe and took the herbal bath. Because it was pretty cold outside this was even more relaxing. We had to leave at 6.30h the staff made sure we still had some breakfast for on the road, very helpfull.

Where I can touch the clouds. Sapa is known as the place where earth and sky meet in Vietnam, so Black Ship Sapa helps me get closer to heaven. Staying in the city for a long time, occasionally going up the mountain to look at the sky and refresh yourself, couldn't be a wiser choice. This is not the first time I have come to Sapa but this is the time I feel most satisfied. The food here is also impeccable with dedicated service from the lovely staff giving us unforgettable experiences. If I have the chance, I will definitely come back here again.

My family and I came to Black Ship in the summer. I heard that this is not the most beautiful time in Sapa, but Black ship still gives us the best experiences. The room I stayed in had a view overlooking Ta Phin valley and a row of green terraced fields. Not to mention other things, the scenery alone made us fascinated. Along with that, the food at this place is really delicious.

The road to the hotel is a little bit bumpy. We drove our motorbikes which was adventures but fun to do but if you don’t like it the hotel can arrange a taxi which works perfect.

Really great hospitality. The hotel just opened 2 months ago. Good food and nice rooms with the best beds and sheets we have had in Vietnam so far. Great views when you wake up, spectacular to see the clouds come and go. We also joined a real local dinner (which was tasty) and nice to learn more about the Vietnamese culture. Besides that the early morning breakfast sandwich to go on the last day (omelette, tomato and cheese) tasted delicious and was outstandingly good.

Drinks and food were a bit expensive.

It was a very remote, picturesque, calm and pretty accommodation! We really enjoyed our stay with pure nature. Also the hike directly behind the house (which we did but we went without a guide so we got lost a bit and thank god the owners of the house picked us up and helped us finding the way out 😂) was incredible.
