The staff here are exceptional, lovely, and hard-working. The rooms are really tidy,modern, and well designed. We had the breakfast combo which was delicious. We have been in the country for 2 weeks and this has been our favorite accommodation so far.

It’s slightly further out from the main centre of Da lat but we loved staying outside the city with the mountainous views from the hotel. While there are no windows to the outside from the bedroom there were great views from the bathroom

The hotel is spotless and very new. Rooms are very well furnished with everything you could need. The staff could not do enough to help and were really friendly. We were greeted with tea and biscuits on arrival. We hired a scooter through the hotel too and it was in great condition.

The windows in the room are facing the hallway. They are not real windows and can actually be opened from the outside. Plus people passing by can look straight into your room. Not so comfortable for a female traveller.

At first I was given a room on the ground floor located right next to reception. I could hear everything! I asked for a new room and the hotel was very accommodating. I had a room with a sauna, which was very nice. The shower is also very nice.

The location is absolutley beautiful but you might need a motobike or a bike to get to the city center.

It’s a bit far out so you need a bike which you can hire from the hotel. Like every hotel you can hear noise from other guests.

Nothing that we didn't like, we agree the only window in the apartment being in to the corridor is a little odd, but it didn't really matter. The bathroom was lovely and light! It wasn't very soundproofed, but there were hardly any guests when we were there so this didn't matter. But I would have been concerned if it was busier.

Everything. It's a lovely looking hotel in a quiet location, but still.close enough to town and Grans are so cheap that makes things easy and affordable. Staff were super nice and helpful, especially Mia who was so kind and helpful. The room was nice, especially the bathroom. It was all very new and modern and attractive. The food from the restaurant was nice and not too pricy. The bed was super comfy and we slept very well! Air conditioning was good too

It is a pity that in a hotel built at such a height there is no view from the room, let alone a balcony or terrace. There are many hotels in dalat with beautiful views

I had a great stay at California Hotel, first of all the staff are amazing. They organised a affordable pick up from the Da Lat airport. The room is lovely with it's own steam bath/sauna. I couldn't believe the room! The resturant in really nice, they have a vegetarian or vegan menu which you can pre order from. The food was SO tasty. The location is a little bit further out of the centre but I actually really liked that it was so quiet and peaceful. The staff are the most amazing part of the stay! Well done team you are great.

Staff were brilliant and really helpful. Rooms were cleaned daily. Lots of amenities to use and the private sauna in our room was outstanding. We’d stay here again. We arrived mid November and everywhere was decorated for Christmas which was very cute. Toilets have built in bidet and showers have a shower door. Ear plugs were a nice touch. We received tea and a biscuit on arrival.

A bit odd solution of space in the hotel - the room windows lead to the hallways or the indoor terrace.

Super helpful and friendly staff that was always welcoming and at our assistance. We have enjoyed our room with sauna and extra comfy bed. Great views from the rooms and the rooftop terrace as the hotel is located up on the hill in a quiet residential area.

A new and clean hotel with excellent staff will make your stay unforgettable. I want to note separately: - dishes from a large menu were available for breakfast, the food was delicious - the hotel quickly helped to solve the problems that happened, for which I am very grateful - you can rent a great bike at the hotel (150,000 vnd per day) - hotel service at a high level - kind and open people working here deserve your attention Treat yourself to a trip to Dalat and a stop at the California Hotel! Special thanks to the high-class staff of the hotel!

Not really a negative, but other guests who are mobility challenged should be aware that stairs throughout the property may make getting around a bit of a challenge.

The staff were excellent and I truly felt welcomed by all involved. When I went for a morning walk, they made sure I had an umbrella if I wanted one, answered every question and arranged for transportation for both tours and back to the airport. The location is a couple of blocks up the hill from one of the main streets so is nice and quiet.

Top notch service! If you are planning on staying in Da Lat, this is your hotel. The staff is wonderful, and the service is superb. We arrived at 6 am at the bus station after a 16 hour bus ride all smelly and tired. They picked us up by car and made us feel directly at home. Check-in was at 2 pm, but they arranged a room for us so we could check-in and take a shower right after breakfast. The rooms are large, with very comfortable beds and have very nice bathrooms, and good showers. The breakfast is great, and plenty. The homemade yogurt is very yummy, as is the homemade ice cream. Da Lat is easy to explore by Moped (the traffic isn't that bad), and the hotel has good ones for rent for a good price.

Room needs a bigger lamp and maybe 2 lamps instead of 1. Also, room could use a bigger trash can. That would make this hotel perfect!

These things were fixed immediately: at night the hall light was very bright even with the blinds down. Once they found out, they made sure to shut off the hall light as soon as we were in our room. Also, my mother in law is allergic to feathers. After itching the first night, we realized the duvet has feathers so the staff made sure to replace her bedding immediately. Staff was so friendly and helpful but we did sometimes have language barrier issues.

The property was beautiful. Our room was great. The highlights for us were the shower and the sauna. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Any issues were addressed immediately.

Staff and services top quality and extremely helpful with everything from where to go, what to eat etc. Rooms, bathrooms and hotel were spotlessly clean. Great Aircon everywhere. Will definitely be back here when next in Dalat and would recommend to anyone. Location on outskirts of city centre but they have brand new Honda mopeds for rent at excellent rates. Thanks again to the team for everything.

Absolutely nothing

The staff! So friendly and welcoming, really went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The manager speaks English and very well which made things a lot easier! Food was great, rooms were great, location was fine for us to catch taxis to all of the tourist attractions we wanted to see. Not too far out from the town centre either Doesn't have a pool or gym like other hotels in bigger cities but it did have Aircon and an onsite restaurant. Beds were a little firmer than what I'm used to back in NZ but that didn't stop me from having a good night sleep! Their house made yoghurt and ice-cream are a must try!!! This has to be my personal favourite hotel in Vietnam we have come across so far!
