The location in the old quarter is perfect for a few days (or longer in Hanoi). The hotel and room were really comfortable. We had read some reviews about some street noise (it’s a busy area), the staff mentioned this on arrival and offered to change our room if we needed to, which we didn’t having slept so well on our first night. What really made our stay was the staff. They couldnt have been more welcoming and helpful. From Dinh answering all of our questions before we arrived, Henry recommending great places to go and where to eat and Sunny ensuring we got a taxi out to the airport (not easy during Tet) and looking after our bags for our last day, even though we’d checked out earlier in our holiday. We’ll definitely be back in Hanoi and hope to stay at Casa Dos when we do.

The drainage for the shower was slow so left puddles but was not too much of a problem.

It’s seem like the house keeping staff were stressed but probably the Tet New Year… less staff working!!! if they can improve a little more on room cleaning it will be perfect place!!

The location was fantastic. The staff was excellent. We’re got special deal from The manager Dinh Lee for a car to the Airport. Was very nice!! All the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.. love them all. If we’re come back to Hanoi again .. we will be there for sure!!

We liked everything.

New, clean and very nice small hotel, very comfortable beds. Amazing staff, like really amazing, helpful and super nice. Very good location, in the city center, all main attractions is reachable by walking distance. RECOMMEND!

We had a fantastic stay here! Perfectly located in the middle of the busy old town. The rooms are clean and have all comfort thats needed. Most impressing is the great hospitality that we have experienced throughout our stay and beyond. It can be a bit noisy at night

Clean, comfortable and modern facilities. Right at the heart of Old Quarter only a stones throw from bier street. Amazing staff and incredibly helpful manager (Mr Dinh Lee) who made my trip to Vietnam very memorable. He organised my full itinerary and helped me book tours at great prices. He treated me like a friend and gave me so many tips to enjoy my stay in Hanoi. Having traveled to several countries across Asia, Europe and Americas and stayed in even 5 star hotels, the level of service I got from Casa Dos Principes was really top notch. The hotel is located so close to bier street that it can tend to get noisy late at night on weekends. I'm perfectly ok with this but some people may not be. Do let the staff know when you check in and they are kind enough to offer you a room that is less noisy. Rooms also have ear plugs so you can sleep more comfortably. The hotel was also great value for money and I will highly recommend for anyone visiting hanoi.

The day we arrived, although the room and bathroom looked modern and uddated, the toilet had an unpleasant stain and the counter top where the teapot, tray with glasses etc are placed, was a little sticky, I guess because granite is dark it didn't look dirty, but unfortunately it was. I did mention the toilet situation to the receptionist and he was very receptive, we went out to have dinner and when we came back he said that it was already clean, but still did not look very good to me :( Despite these couple of issues. my husband and I loved the place and would definitely recommend it.

The staff were amazing helping us with recommendations of places to see and good food to eat for our first time in Hanoi! Always greeted us with a smile (one of the staff even came and spoke to us on the street when we bumped into them) treating us like a friend. The location was great and everything was walking distance making our trip a lot less stressful. We stayed for 6 nights to really enjoy Hanoi and explore properly. We will definitely be back!
