Peaceful, nice staff, great foods, Good value for money.This place is not far from the center, we went down the street and around Cat Ba island by motorbike, we rented a motorbike, booked a tour to visit Lan Ha Bay here, if you have the opportunity to come here, you should eat here. Cheap, delicious and beautiful space,We like this place and recommend it to everyone,

Wonderful, charming family on Cat Ba Island. + This hotel is beautiful. Surrounded by mountains and forests, delicious food, everything perfect. The eleventh star (if there is one) I would give the host and the best staff we have ever met. They do everything they can to help, they take care of genuine honesty and friendliness for their customers (the owner said he wanted guests to leave the resort comfortably, so he will do everything he can to make the tourists happy). We wanted to stay longer, but there was no time left.

All off the staff were really helpful, the property is very beautiful surrounded by nature and the rooms were exceptionally good for the price. When I visit Cat Ba again I will be staying here.

Staff were wonderful, Henri and Dai worked so hard to make sure our stay was comfortable. They booked a boat trip to LAN Ha bay which was fantastic and surpassed our expectations. The food was great and it’s a wonderful oasis of peace and calm 10 mins from the centre of town. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Their noodle soup broth was not tasty and the Banh mi could be improved.

We stayed in bungalows rooms. They kindly upgraded our rooms. It was an amazing surprise. The rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable with everything we need (shampoo, shower gel...). AC worked well. Mattresses were correct for us and our teens. We rented motorbikes and used their taxi options to go in Cat Ba city centre + the laundry. You give them your clothes, you get them the day after at the same time. The staff is helpful. It is a lovely place in the mountain, very quiet.

He host family is super nice and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, and we have a nice boat trip , Loved the friendly staff, so helpful. They organised busses tour and scooter everything for my familly.

- beautiful garden, lots of flowers, many butterflies and many birds - The room is a bit small but very clean and beautiful - Everyone is very friendly, happy and enthusiastic to help. In particular, Henry helped us organize a tour to visit Lan Ha Bay, and a limousine bus to Hanoi I recommend this place.

Some fiesty cockerels/chickens so bring ear plugs if you are a very light sleeper. Would book the bungalow instead of the still house if I were to come again

Good facilities and very quick to travel into cat ba town (around 10 minutes drive) Very much worth it as the place is very peaceful and the staff are very friendly. Makes a wonderful change after the bustle of the city.

Papillion was one of our favourite stays in vietnam. It was peaceful and relaxing and perfect for a family stay. Henry was extremely helpful in organising us a tour and anything else we requested. Nothing was too much trouble. The puppy was an added bonus!

Clean rooms, beautiful garden, kind staff, and there’s a PUPPY. Away from the busy area which was a lovely change. Was great to enjoy the pool and garden and relax. Food at Papillon was great and a short walk away is another place to eat if you’re worried about variety.

We absolutely loved the property, it was like a little slice of Paradise. The owner (Dai) is super helpful and even arranged our boat tour and bus to our next destination. The property offered the use of motorbikes (for a small fee) to get around the Island. This family run resort is very welcoming and relaxing! A massive thank you to Henry also who was very helpful and kind and made our stay even better! Would highly recommend this place to others! Additionally, the laundry service is marvellous - our clothes smell so fresh!

The pool was not very inviting. Other guests asked for it to be cleaned while we were there because no one wanted to get in with how it looked. We booked the location specifically for somewhere to swim with our kids, so that was a let down. The beds were extremely hard, and our room was very cramped. If our kids had been older the "Family Room" never would have worked.

The location was nice and quiet, away from town. The property looked very nice and was really kept in a nice and clean state.
