How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We loved Victor group brand so much. Their room was nice – clean – lovely decoration. We have good times at Victor Rooftop bar & restaurant was nice view and good service. We Booked our Trip to Ninh Binh, Sapa, Ha Giang loop by Mrs. Ruby was good.

Mrs. Ruby is best customer service manager, she did to booked our package tours as: Sapa 3 days 2 nights tour + Hoa lu – tam coc 1 day tour was perfect and good promotion. We have large – clean room with nice streets view. Hotel have rooftop bar & restaurant was beautiful view and good foods. We loved this hotel.

We have free welcome with juice and cool towel. Thier staffs was very friendly and warmest welcome us. Our room was nice decoration and good bathtub. We have good time at Victor Rooftop bar & restaurant. We’ll comeback with My family.

Our premium double room city view is new – nice view and very large room. Hotel location was perfect. Hotel staffs was nice, They did to booked our Ha long bay 2 days 1 night + Hanoi city 1 day tour was good promotion. We will comeback.

Probably better shower head and longer hose, the water pressure was great, just not a lot of water coming out of the shower head. And more soap, 2-3 cakes not 1. Rooftop bar prices to much. Beer 25k of street, 100k on roof. Will only stay for 1 at that price
Room very quiet at night, could not hear any street noise at all.

Our victor suite room with balcony was beautiful decoration with deep lake view – city view and very large, we loved this room. Hotel location and staffs was great. We booked our Ha long bay 2 days 1 night tour was good . We loved this hotel

Excellent information tour By Mrs. Ruby, she did to booked our package tours : Ha Long bay 2 days 1 night, Ha Giang Loop 4 days 5 nights, Ninh Binh 1 day trip was excellent. Hotel have great location. Their staffs was helpful and polite staffs.

We loved Victor Metropolis hotel & rooftop bar. They have all service as good tours service, beautiful Rooftop bar & restaurant, good tour & spa service so we don’t need to go outside. Their staffs was professional and very friendly. We like hotel location.

The only thing I can think of is that the Aperol had run out so I couldn’t have an Aperol Spritz
Lovely room. I was doubtful about a room with an ‘internal window’ but actually it was cost and allowed enough air and light in to be satisfactory. In fact in a Hanoi summer dark is preferable. It was nicely decorated and even had a bath. The breakfast was better than some higher end hotels I have stayed in.Service was great and a special ‘shout out’ to Andy on reception who offered me advice and was very personable. There is a nice rooftop bar which serves food and drinks of all types
