It was likely an honest mistake that the shower had no hot water for the first couple of days.

Great location away from the many noisy areas nearby. Still a pleasant walking distance along the lake to the old quarter. Large balcony. Our first two nights the shower did not have any hot water. When we finally decided to raise it with staff they must have forgotten to turn it on and it was fixed instantly. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good but you need to proatively ask if you want soup or eggs as the kitchen is downstairs.

The facilities were fine and would definitely return but feel place would benefit from a lick of paint and some TLC.

A lovely quiet location a short walk from Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter. Super friendly staff who went out of their way to help us find some Hanoi FC souvenirs and later rescue a backpack we had left in a taxi on the way to airport. Thank you!

Only downside was our room had a stale cigarette scent to it, even though there are clear signs saying no smoking in the rooms.

Stayed here for one night and chose it due to the close proximity to a restaurant we were going too. It is in a good location near the opera house and plenty within walking distance. The room we stayed in was on the cosy side but we did have a balcony and we enjoyed that as it had some comfy chairs and we could enjoy a glass of wine watching the hustle and bustle below. The rooms were fairly well sound proofed but they are doing building work across the road so you could hear that in the morning but it didn't start too early. Breakfast was average, a selection of Vietnamese and western foods, some fruit and juices etc but we enjoyed the fresh cooked omelette. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

The only thing was the laundry cost for clothes which was obscene and incredibly overpriced. Get your laundry done through a local vendor (or risk paying 110$AUD for 14 pairs of undies, 3 shirts, 1 pants and 2 tshirts)

Air condition in the room was not working well

The Service was fantastic. Mr Tung did an outstanding job in taking care on short notice to arrange in a very dedicated customer friendly way a transportation to Halong international port.
