My bed specifically wasn't cleaned well (there was dust and hair), however another bunk bed where my friend slept was clean.

Location was great and it was a cheap deal, the whole place was clean.

It was really nice accommodation and lovely staff, but unfortunately I cannot give 10, because of the lack of cleaning. Sheets and toilets were not so clean, but the price is low so you might understand.

I stayed more than a week and it was pretty chill. Also I rented a bike for 200k per week which was cheap and I like they gave me a nice breakfast everyday

Couldn’t find a water refill station

Very clean, beds in dorm are single beds so no top bunk! Very helpful owner. Smaller, so more intimate and easy to chat to other guests, great location

Around the gate was not very clean and so was the shower section. Quite dirty some places and no curtains in room so no privacy.

The location was nice pretty close to the downtown. Staff was nice, and I got my bed before their official check-in time so was great.

No privacy in the dorm, but not an issue for me. The flow of the shower should be fixed.

Good location close to the old town. The facility is quiet clean. Simple breakfast included. Small rooftop bar good to talk to other travelers. Possibility to rent bycicle and motorbike.

Wonderful owner, great location and super social, friendly atmosphere on the rooftop every evening. This is a great, great place to meet people. The beds were very comfy with nice pillows.

I had a private room with double bed. Sometimes the pictures, online, of the size of bed and room can be deceiving. However when I got there the bed was massive and the room a decent size. Plus the guy who runs the place is eager to help you organise anything you’re planning to do or see.

- no curtains so if you want privacy then this isn't one for you (I had only two others in my room so it wasn't an issue) - only 1 small cup of coffee given with breakfast and was refused a refill when I asked (though I saw another guest being given a refill). Tea option is not black tea but multiple refills. - lockers are small boxes at bottom of the bed (need your own locks) so if you need more space to store it might be an issue

Central old town location, very clean and spacious, single (no bunk) beds although without any curtains, easy and free filtered drinking water refills, freshly prepared breakfast for everyone, clean bathrooms, nice and kind staff, appropriately strong AC. Hostel is a quite vibe

The room was musty smelling although I didn’t see any evidence of mould. Wifi dropped in and out at least inside my room

Excellent location, friendly staff, huge private room with a big bed. Appreciated the shampoo and shower gel as well as toothbrushes, soap etc although I didn’t need most of it, I like it being provided. Nice breakfast on the 4th floor. Felt like a safe area.

Bed had no curtains around, which means, no privacy. Also would be helpful to have some hooks for each bed in order to hang your clothes on. Hooks are also needed in the toilette rooms and washbasin on both sides

Free breakfast was a good choice. Always fresh. The mattress new and very comfortable. Dorm and Bathrooms very clean. washbasin, toilette and showers separated from each other which is very good for using and always available. Location central and quiet. Rooftop with many amenities and good view. I liked staying at cucumber hostel a lot

We arrived early and the staff was really kind to let us check in. They were super friendly, helpful and with a nice sense of humor. Great hospitality! Love the breakfast. They helped booked a day tour to my My Son Santuary and it was great. Also helped booked our sleeper bus tickets efficiently. Will definitely stay at cucumber hostel again!
