Everything was amazing! In a context in which it’s hard to choose an accommodation among so many hotels in a busy city like Hanoi, De La Soie is a real Gem perfectly located in the Old Quarter. Obviously, the best thing about this hotel is its excellent location, in the best part of Hanoi old town, just in front of the Ho Hoan Kiem lake. You just take two step from the door and you’re at the beginning of the famous night markets. It couldn’t be easier to move around, chilling in the city, during the day or the night, while having the best Hanoi attractions in a little perimeter in which you would be right at the center. Literally perfect. One of the things that made my trip so special, easy and memorable is the staff !! Oh my god, so nice and helpful people. I basically arrived for a short period of time (6days) without having really planned my activities during my trip. They helped me so much in defining what is better for me, according to my wishes and my constraints. Tracy and Mee are amazing people who wish the best for you during your stay without forcing you to book anything with them. They try to fit your needs and suggest you great solutions and they arrange amazing tours (with a really high quality). Even if wasn’t present if the hotel anymore for my 3 last days as I moved to another province, they let me drop my big bag in the hotel and take a shower at night before leaving (after checkout). I would like to thank them again for their great service and their warm welcome. Really kind and joyful people who speak very well English, so the communication is nice and easy. Finally, the facilities and the room were so clean and comfortable even if we are in a busy and tight place in the center of Hanoi. I had some great nights and nothing to complain about. The hotel even propose a rooftop terrace with a stunning view of the animated city of Hanoi. Amazing! Recommend it 1000% with closed eyes

For it to be perfect, it would have had to be a bit cleaner. There was no major dirt, but the bin in the bathroom was a dirty of the outside of the lid and there space between the wall and the bed we dirty, with some nuts in the floor from someone who’d previously stayed there.

Gorgeous little hotel in an excellent location. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. The room was lovely and clean, bathroom was immaculate. We loved the rooftop seating from which we could have some cocktails and watch the bustling street below. We wish we could've stayed longer. Thanks for having us! :)

What I like about Hotel De La Soie? Here are my top 5 reasons: 1. The location is perfect, I stayed there for 5days and never needed a ride (unless going outside Hoan Kiem) because its near to almost everything. 2. The room rates are much affordable and still reasonable during peak season. No wonder why this hotel is fully booked most of the time. 3. They also offer travel promos going to the many tourist attractions which I find more affordable compare to many other tour prices I have seen. 4. They have great facilities plus they make up the room everyday, change the towels, replace the complimentary stuff in your room if you have used them (coffee, tea, drinking water etc.) 5. The staff are very friendly, accommodating, and the hospitality is greatly evident. The smiles on their faces made me feel at home the whole time. I can't help but to make friends with them, especially Ms. My and Ms. Tracy. I had to moved to another location in Hanoi due to business matter but we still communicate and I can still rely on to them whenever I needed to clarify something since this is my first trip in Vietnam. Thank you so much, it was a great experienced indeed. So don't forget to consider this hotel when going to Hanoi!

we booked the cheapest room - and is a little on the small side - but honestly compared to all the positives with this hotel it really wasn’t that big deal - would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we were in Hanoi

we loved our stay at De La Soie - in fact we chose to return 2 further times in the end as we did short trips of Hanoi to Sapa, Halong Bay and Ninh Binh. The staff truly are so lovely and really made it - gave us tips on city, letting us check in early after arriving on early flight, check out late when we had a late flight, looking after bags during day, letting us shower in evening before night train, they really couldn’t have done any more. rooms were clean, the aircon in the rooms worked really well, the shower had good pressure and hot water and beds were comfortable!

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was super friendly, and truly 24/7 available, as we experienced when arriving at 04.00am. Room was very clean and had all the amenities you might want, including a very efficient and silent airco. We had a late flight but could leave our luggage and even use a shower and towels if we wanted after check out.

The square it's on is very busy so it can be loud if there is an event on but I found that noise calmed down by bedtime.

The staff are really exceptional here. They all know who you are and are interested in your plans for Hanoi, and they can give excellent recommendations. If you have any questions, go straight to them and they will help - I got great recommendations for a massage and pho. The location is ideal, very central in the old quarter making it easy to walk everywhere. It's also near the weekend night market so you can easily see that. There is a roof terrace where you can sit and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the square and look at the lake.
