The rain shower was broken and glass door never closed properly. The bathroom could be flood same as other 2-3 stars hotels.

A small luxury hotel center of Hanoi. During the COVID-19 , they have renovated their facilities. It’s very convenient location and the staffs were attentive . The breakfast was fantastic.

The hotel is nicely designed and managed. It is in a location where you can easily walk to all the major sights. Lots of good restaurants nearby and much more relaxing than staying in the old quarter. They also give great recommendations.

I absolutely adored my experience at De Syloia. The hotel's location, room quality, and services all exceeded my expectations. It has a unique character and a soulful ambiance that beautifully mirrors the charm of Hanoi and Nordic design sensibilities. Kinda a perfect fusion of these two distinct styles. What else struck me was the attention to detail evident in every corner of the room. The lighting, the bathroom, the window and the super comfy bed. It's not just a place to stay to me, but also a cherished memory while in Hanoi. Either for business or for leisure, the place blends professionalism and a sense of nostalgia, I would say, making it a good choice for anyone seeking a pleasant and memorable place in Hanoi.

beautiful decor , amazing bed , clean starched spotless linen,subtle colours and tasteful interior designing . dark wooden flooring with tile design is added beauty . bathroom is spacious with jacuzzi tub and separate shower . lot of cupboard space .big French windows , ample sunlight . powerful air con . and fresh fruit basket everyday . wholesome breakfast with pho,eggs,seafood , bacon fried rice/noodles etc , cappuccino too. can’t fault at anything . good quality toiletries .this hotel is a gem . suite rooms are so tastefully designed and spacious for family that it will give other hotels run for their money . hotel staff is also very helpful and pleasant . overall exceeded expectations . hotel on busy street in old quarters walking distance to opera house and quite a lot of options for Japanese food and small marts ,salons etc . they also have small in room dining menu for international guests palate .

everything at this property exceeded my expectations. the room was very comfortable and well thought out. the restaurant and breakfast was delicious. when checking out the hotel manager greeted me to ensure my stay was enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again for my next visit to Hanoi.

I had a separate shower and bath, but some of my colleagues had a bath/shower in one. They had this before and it is simply not as comfortable as having a separate shower and bath.

Breakfast is something to get out of your bed for. Vietnamese or continental cuisine .... it's all there. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Hotel was recently renovated, my colleagues and I all liked the renovation. Actually, the hotel is integrated with a fine dining restaurant.

Absolutely the best stay in Hanoi! Stayed with them twice so good it was! Loved location, a bit on the side of the old town madness, yet still walking distance to everything. Rooms are amazing! exceptionally clean, beautiful interior and great location. there was an issue with our transportation to Sapa and the staff was very helpful in making sure we got it resolved. Mr Hong Nguyen even accompanied us to the bus station to make sure everything was fine. will definitely not hesitate to stay at this lovely hotel again.

The shower over the bath I understand will be phased out and replaced with shower only which is a good idea. Current configuration looks good on paper but technically doesn't work. Shower rose to wide, causing water to spread over floor, bath hard to get out off, slippery underfoot etc these points have been noted by management so all good moving forward.

Nicely appointed hotel, General Manager Dorte Werner was very pleasant and approachable. The staff were very friendly. I extended my stay and couldn't fault the restaurant food and room service. It was terrific.

De Syloia is a breath of fresh air if you're coming from a few nights in the Old Quarter. It's a quaint lovely hotel with aesthetically done decor in the room and the bathroom. We had a comfortable four-poster bed and an interesting slice-of-city view from our balcony. We were booked in room 404. The housekeeping did a fantastic job cleaning up our wine glasses and french press too. They kept the room exceptionally clean. This is the one hotel that serves a full continental spread for breakfast, so if you'd like a break from the Pho, this is a welcome spread for breakfast, along with some well-brewed cappuccinos. The staff was also helpful and prompt with all our requests. They even helped us get a cab to the airport at a more reasonable rate than Grab Taxi. They really took care of us. Thank you, De Syloia.
