We absolutely loved our stay at the La Mejor hotel in Old Town Hanoi. Our room was spacious, private, relaxing, clean and the food was very tasty! When we came back from Ha Long Bay we were welcomed back for luggage storage before our overnight train to Sapa. Mr. Du Ngo the front office manager was very accommodating and helped us with the time we had before our train including helping to book our spa experience. We would 100% stay here again and recommend to everyone!

The only con is how expensive drinks and lunch/dinner are on the rooftop. You can go across the street and get food/drinks for one fifth of the price

Beautiful amenities and super friendly staff. They took care of all transportation and arranged an amazing Ha Long Bay experience for us. Definitely do the 3 day 2 night if you plan to visit Ha Long Bay. Breakfast was delicious too.

I think a bit more variety for the pastries and drinks at the breakfast would be nice. I also was a bit confused as I had booked what I believed was the executive room with street window and a shower but the hotel manager guaranteed me I didn't. Not sure what happened there since the executive was cheaper on booking. It's alright though, still amazing value, I'm just not a fan of internal Windows (they are in every hotel in Hanoi because of the architecture)

Thank you to all the staff that made our trip amazing. We had a lot of struggle not necessarily related to the hotel and they helped us every time. Han and Jane are two or the names I remember but everyone was on top of their help game. Warm welcomes, good breakfast, amazing rooftop, I can't stress that enough. Sadly we didn't try the restaurant outside of breakfast hours, I'm sure the food is great. Those cocktails were succulent, the room is quite spacious, AC works well. And the bed is the best we've had in Hanoi, good sleep 😴. Will definitely come back

The room could have more lights. It felt a little dimly lit.

The room was spacious and clean. The location of the hotel is smack in the middle of the most happening street in old quarter so that’s a plus. The staff at the hotel speak english well and are very polite and accommodating to requests. They even allowed us to take a shower before our flight later in the day after check out. It felt like a blessing because it was so hot outside. Thank you Mr. Du for being so considerate.

Staff were very friendly and really helpful. Always cheerful and smiling. It was in the busiest part of the walking street. Incredibly noisy crowds outside, but the rooms had thick windows and walls. Could barely hear any outside noise. Could barely hear any noise from inside the hotel. Busiest location and quietest room we've ever stayed in. We had an early flight and the staff made sure there was a takeaway breakfast for us to take with us in the morning. Will stay here again anytime in Hanoi. Great experience

You couldn’t get a better location, right in the middle of the Old Quarter nightlife, yet still quiet in the immaculate luxurious rooms. The facilities are great and the staff go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay. On the last day I wanted to buy some paintings from a shop I forgotten the location, the manager, Du, insisted on giving me a ride on his bike around the streets till we found it. Many thanks to everyone in this fine establishment, especially Du and Jane, who always had great suggestions for restaurants and places to shop.

Fantastic place to stay in a great location. As others have mentioned, it is right on the busy beer street, but my room and probably many others are located far away from the noise and I didn’t hear any of it. The room was very clean and modern, and while there were windows, I couldn’t really see anything which is OK because I was mostly in the room to sleep. The breakfast area is on the ninth floor and the Sky bar is on the 10th and 11th floors, so there is easy access to amazing views of the city! The breakfast in the morning was really good with a huge variety of western and Asian options.

everything was great! But if theres one thing to improve, maybe hotel can improve to fix the shower water pressure to be a bit more strong & fix the drain.

At first me and my frnds didny expect much from our trip but all the hotel staff especialy Manager Du did extra mile with their hospitality services !! So surprised by how wonderful their care & hospitality towards us since day one to the very last day of our trip! Points that stand out the most during our trip was - their Warm welcome, always smile always greet us and offer help anytime even the midnight shift staff! - Prompt response! They even gave us Recommendation places list on our first day here to help us figure amazing restaurants & cafes arnd the hotel! - they took extra care of us when sick, prompt answer of pharmacy recommendations and EVEN OFFERED US GINGER TEA right away ! 🫶🏼 - they always happy and prompt to Help to call grab taxi - last but not least, they OFFERED FIRST to get us EARLY check in when we were so tired when we arrived at the hotel due to midnight flight we took 🥹😭🙏🏼🤍 AND not only that, when i asked for additional charge of late check out, manager Du EVEN OFFERED US FREE late check out for 1.5 hrs 😭🙏🏼 They DEF did EXTRA MILES with their hospitality services ! DEF RECOMMENDED & will stay here again on our next trip to Hanoi!

A pleasant stay with helpful services and great breakfast with superb view at the restaurant. Also big thanks to the hotel staff Han who recommended me some local places for desserts, special fish dish and beef pho.
