Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

We had a super nice and relaxing stay at the Muong Dinh Lodge. The area around the accommodation is really quiet with beautiful nature and perfect to experience the Mekong Delta and the living of the locals. The stuff was super friendly and helpful and offers a lot of activities. In addition the food was amazing.

AustriaThe neighbor who is a bit crazy and sometimes plays loud music but they’re trying to come to an agreement with him. Otherwise this is paradise!!
This is a beautiful home, to take it easy, get to know the real Mekong and their warm and welcoming people. You can go for long walks in nature surrounded by canals, go for boat rides, bike rides… I loved every minute in this calm oasis! People here are so nice! Every walk I took was a real experience bc people cannot be more welcoming!! Take time to slow down here!!!

United KingdomFabulous stay. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and the breakfast was lovely in a morning. Very caring staff. Even text me when I'd been out one day and night for an age in the heat - just to check if I needed any help. Picked me up from the ferry location too on arrival. Fabulous service. Great location!

DenmarkWe liked it all!
The lodge is located in a wonderfully quiet area by a small river with lots of vegetation and wildlife around. It’s run by a family which added a very homey atmosphere to the place. The staff was super friendly and helped us with everything we needed (transportation to/from the lodge, booking tours etc.). We booked a tour through them and had a very good time being guided around the river and local area by the kind staff member Wilson. We ended up eating at the lodge every night and really enjoyed the food.

SwitzerlandMissed a place to relax in front of the bungalow. A pool would be excellent. Sightseeing a bit sobering not to call the floating market a tourist trap.
Totally laid back. A feeling of everyone is serving, cooking and relaxing. Helen is mastering the entire business with grace. The room is was in was large and aircon worked well. Believe this to be good value for money; it’s of course not the Four Seasons. Yet. Food is local and excellent!

ItalyActually few things maybe I would add hangers (which we travelers really like) and maybe some hammocks or more comfortable seating in front of one's bungalow would help to have even more relaxing corners in this beautiful garden.
We recommend to choose this place you eat great food and have a great time in this enchanted garden. 👍The owner's green footprint 🥰 The atmosphere, the place surrounded by greenery, the staff and the care of the garden. We slept great, the mosquito net smelled clean, and the neighbor with his karaoke didn't bother us much. It was nice to try to visit the less touristy market because going out in the early morning hours is still atmospheric and exciting. Unfortunately for us, the proximity to the tet prevented us from seeing the market but the host came through for us by offering an alternative. It was nice to rent the bike and ride around the surroundings. We spotted many squirrels and birds. The restaurant really deserves moreover for Valentine's Day they even set up a table for us with roses and a card. Really very cute.

SwitzerlandThere is nothing I didn’t like ! Only thing to mention is that it’s a bit far from Can Tho but still… I wouldn’t even worry about that.. just rent a motorbike from the lodge
The lodge is absolutely wonderful ! It’s super clean (better than most star hotels we visited in South Vietnam), spacious, and downright beautiful ! The stuff is extremely kind and they offer a lot of amenities to enjoy your stay in the area. You can rent motorbikes or bicycles to explore the beautiful nature in the surroundings, you can book tours with them with their amazing tour guides or you can do cooking classes! We rent bicycles and explored the area around which I highly recommend because it’s absolutely beautiful and we booked two tours with Wilson which we really enjoyed! They organised everything for us, we really didn’t have to worry at all ! We also ate most of the time in the lodge and the food was delicious !!!!!overall it was the best highlight of our trip in South Vietnam !

CanadaIt's not the lodge's fault but there's a neighbor who turned on his music really loud around 6 am ... If you take a bike make sure the brakes work.
The place is really nice, green and nicely arranged. The bungalow was cute, well decorated and better than expected. The outdoor attached bathroom is quite cool. The organization for transportation to get there and get out is spot on. The staff was really nice.
