How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff is amazing. The ladies at the reception are very nice and helpful. They do a great job and they really seem to enjoy what they do. The hotel is nicely decorated, our room was clean and quiet. There are some good restaurants nearby and an excellent cafe around the corner.

Wifi could be temperamental. Would help traveller's if it was consistent.
The front staff were absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful. Comfortable bed and well appointed room. Breakfast was my favorite in my nearly two months of traveling. Next time in Ha Noi plan to stay here for sure!

The pressure on the shower head should be improved.
The room was very bright. The shower always had really hot water. The room was cleaned spottlesly! The bed was like a cloud no comment, fabolous! We also got a free upgrade to a balcony room which was even better, during a night storm it was so calming to watch. At breakfast you have a view from the 14th floor.

The main thing we didn't like was breakfast. We specifically paid more for it but went once and didn't go any more. It was pretty poor, although they do offer the eggs or pho.
The room was clean and spacious. The front desk and cleaning staff were lovely. The location was pretty good, easy walking distance to the old town area, although some tours didn't offer to pick us up from there.

All the receptionists are friendly and helpful. The location is right in the center. If you're Vietnamese should try fruits Chè. It's so delicious. The room size is good but next to school so every morning I hear the noises from there and the toilet is so close to the bath area, it is a bit uncomfortable.

Hot water and pressure were a problem in some of the showers.
The hotel is well situated between the old town and Truc Bach Lake, being within walking distance of both but away from the hustle and bustle. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful, providing extra assistance to get things delivered. Rooms were clean and as pictured, beds were comfortable, the AC worked well and street noise wasn't a problem (at least on higher levels). It was particularly appreciated that they offer a shower and luggage storage for guests who don't want to pay for a late check-out past 1pm.

4. In my opinion, breakfast for 150k per person is not worth it at all - you can go outside and spend ~30k for better value.
1. Great value, rooms are big and price is affordable 2. air conditioning is mounted im a way, that it doesnt blow air directly on you/bed, therefore you can have it on even during the night without risking catching cold. This is not a standard in every hotel in hanoi. 3. Staff is great, they explain everything you might need.

The cleanliness could be better, we even asked for extra cleaning but still, not in european standard, it was the same in all other hotels in Vietnam, I called it Vietnamese cleaning standard, they just cant see it.. Thats why I cannot give a 10..
The hotel is very nice and the breakfast was very good, comfortable beds, after check-out we could leave there our bags for free and even take a shower before headed to the airport, we got clean towels and there was no fee

Very small room. The bathroom had a bad smell.
Very comfortable beds. Good breakfast options with one meal to select and a small buffet. Our plane left in the evening and even though we already checked out we could leave our luggage in the hotel and took a shower before leaving.

The school close by blasts their speakers everyday at 7:30 am. If you're a light sleeper like me, brings ear plugs.
Great location in the old quarter. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were good, as expected from the pictures. Breakfast was also good.

The rooms are pretty small in size and as is common in SE Asia, the AC turns off with the key card. The room can get pretty stuffy until the AC ramps up again.
Located in Historic Hanoi makes it convenient to tour the city. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. They exchange money at the hotel making it very convenient. Hotel is very clean as well.

I think I paid extra/more--but that might be booking.com--for a room with a tiny balcony and no breakfast included. The hotel faces a school and my room overlooked the school--that on a Friday had the loudest gongs and microphone announcements at 7:30 am and then on a Monday, it started at 6:30 am and included loud music, that went on for two hours. If you need to wake up a bit later or require a sleep in--would not recommend the hotels on this street. It's not their fault--but the school is unusually loud.
The staff, particularly, the girls at Reception were accommodating and lovely. The rooms were fairly clean and the shower was alright. The water pressure though, wasn't great. The beds were very comfortable and the room was a good size.

I paid extra for a balcony but it is extremely small and cannot really be used.
Amazing staff in a little cosy hotel in the heart of Hanoi. Simple but amazing. Staff really made a difference in our stay and they were all wonderful.
