The entire boat is so beautiful. Our room was perfect. Luxurious and comfortable. If you are thinking about booking this cruise, DO IT! everything was perfect. Brunch buffet wasn’t sufficient but as mentioned earlier since they were concerned we were provided with other complimentary.

The cruise was clean and the people were so concerned abt our food preferences. We would have extended our stay if we have not gotten our return ticket. Great ambiance and hospitality. Not to forget the honeymoon surprise 😍

The amount of rubbish in the water in the bay is disappointing. Life vest could use a clean were visably dirty ans smelly.

The Regal Genesis cruise was absolutely amazing, very clean, rooms are very large including the bathroom. The boat cruises very quietly. The breakfast, lunch and dinner was also amazing, you definitely won't go hungry. The staff are absolutely lovely and kind. Thank you Regal Genesis, we will definitely be coming back. We will never forget the wonderful time we had on this cruise.

I would appreciate more variety in Vegetarian & Jain Food

The junior suite on our cruise, while not overly spacious, was beautifully appointed and comfortable. The bathroom was big with a luxurious tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventures. What truly set our accommodation apart were the massive windows situated directly in front of our bed, providing breathtaking views as if nature itself was displayed on a high-definition screen. The private balcony, furnished with a pair of chairs and a table, provided the perfect nook for intimate conversations while soaking in the stunning ocean views. The standout feature of our cruise was the exceptional level of personalization. From the moment of booking, through boarding, and until our return to shore, we were in constant communication with dedicated staff (Ms Chee)who made us feel truly valued. The cruise manager, Mr. Sunny, deserves commendation for his excellent engagement and entertainment skills, adding a vibrant energy to our voyage. Our dining experiences were a highlight, with our dietary needs for Jain food thoughtfully accommodated.

Truly exceptional 2 nights 3 days cruise. The food was amazing. We were a family of 4 with 2 kids and had the connection rooms. The rooms were amazing. A special thank you to Ms Chee, thank you for organising the cake to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and help to surprise her. My family really appreciated that. Everything was perfect on the cruise and I will definitely recommend.

One of the bartenders did not speak English well enough. One of as were lactose intolerant and told them in advance, they overlooked that. We could not go into the Bright and Dark Caves, and we think the operator knew, but didn't say the chances are very low and it is better to stay on ship, or go at your own risk. They could have offered alternative activity or a free cocktail or something like that... The drop off logistics in our case (private car booking) was not really ok, but we got compensation for our issue, and are fully satisfied with that, they did a good job.

The ship was beautiful and the room was excellent. It was so lovely to have such a nice private balcony and enjoy the views from there. We enjoyed the food and drinks. They took responsibility for an issue we had with our trip back after the cruise that we booked with them. They have excellent customer service.

We booked 2 nights 3 days and the shuttle with thier lucury van which was very comfortable. All is organized perfect from the pickup to the hotel till the way back. Sunny was the hust and know how to anumate the gyest and always make them feel comfortable. The food is 5 star plus (book 2 nights to try all the menu they have). Big congrats to the chef. He cooked great food for lunch and dinner. All the staff is very kind and and always pleased to help and do their best to satisfy the guests. They are always smiling. I would mention James, the waiter which take care for you not to miss anything. Than the tour organisation with Daisy is fun just to be with her. With Daisy you can’t miss laughing anything she try to explain, and thats why every call her Daisy , lazy, crazy, noisy 😊😊. If you do one night will see only the cave but i suggest 2 night because second day you can visit the Cat Ba village (Women village, i will not tell the story behind because you need to hear from Daisy) where you ride in the nature and enjoy the beaty, you see tipical Vietnamise village. You will try the fish massage, and the holy water. The night is very calm and relaxing and you forget about the stress, cars and internet 😊. The room is better than 5 star hotel. You have all facilities needed and is very clean. We really enjoyed and i would suggest to do it if you go in Hanoi. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Amazing experience. Perfect number of rooms so it's not too crowded and room is beautiful, bed facing the bay and lovely balcony to sit and sip wine. The real difference is the service and attentiveness of the crew. Well planned activities in nice area of the bay.

The staff were very courteous and warm. Chee at the main office was constantly in contact with us and shared every information. She was absolutely wonderful and caring. She took special care to organize a cake for my daughter's birthday. Sunny was exceptional. He kept us entertained right from the point we boarded the boat for the cruise ship and took care of us on board too. Thank you everyone at Genesis Regal for your kind hospitality.

Food was good, however trying too hard to be pretetentious hence dropping in quality, at times. We personally felt they would have been great doing simple Vietnamese food. We do however understand they try to cater for all tastes. This is not Genesis' fault, but it was sad to see a lot of rubbish in the sea, basically everywhere.

Stunning rooms with private balcony, large windows and massive bathroom. Clean, well furnished and comfortable. Great restaurant setting and rooftop, including multiple lounges to cater for all guests. Friendly staff - we loved Daisy! Genuinely nice and funny. We had lots of fun sqid fishing with her. Competent tour guide, Sunny, was always present and attentive. Very prompt and helpful booking process and check out experience. Comfortable transfers. Smooth transition across transport and the various activities. Food quantity was plenty, maybe even too much. Overall amazing experience!!!

We had a fantastic trip on the Genesis cruise and would highly recommend to others. The staff were so friendly and attentive, the excursions were well-planned, and the food was delicious. The boat itself was very clean and to a good standard, and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Would highly recommend doing a 2 night cruise rather than 1 so that you can properly enjoy the boat and the views.

Unfortunately our room was right underneath the loud speakers to the bar on the top deck, so the vibration of the bass came through to our room and was shaking our ceilings. It didn’t exactly make for a relaxing environment when we wanted to take a bath or chill in the room. Ha long bay itself had a real issue with waste and plastic in the ocean. We didn’t swim at all because of this.

The staff are so welcoming and kind. Special shoutout to Kong and Henry who really made our stay by sharing great stories and making us laugh. The ship itself is really lovely and the rooms are pristine, especially the bathtub. We did the 2 night trip, so we were able to do the excursion to Cat Ba island on the second day which was a highlight for us.

Super cruise. Super meals, super staff, Super scenic views, village tour, cave and kayaking was great. 5 star for meals and caters for all tastes. Room was very comfortable with balcony. Highly recommended and a must place to visit. Thank you to all staff for looking after us and special thanks to Henry for taking care of us. Pick up was nice and comfortable. We were very well informed about our pick up and Ms Cher also offered to pick us up from our hotel which was outside the old quarters. The drinks on the ship are reasonable priced with buy two and get one free offer
