Location excellent right where we wanted to be in the old town, very convenient for walking around. City was amazing seeing how works. People were helpful, from getting laundry done to finding eating places. Walking around markets, day or night just go and see it. Well worth it.

The hotel has had a refurbishment and feels quite luxurious, it exceeded my expectations. The room was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and came with a large balcony with patio furniture. The reception staff go out of their way to ensure your stay is comfortable and trouble free. Special mention goes to Gem who welcomed us and made great food recommendations and Vivian who helped us with a small problem, thank you ladies you made us feel special. The cocktail menu looked fab and mine was delicious. The mini bar prices were very reasonable. Hanoi has been a revelation and the kindness of the people makes us want to return and the GM hotel would be our first choice.

Only tiny thing was the gym facilities were a little lacking; the treadmill was possibly not set up properly and a bit unsteady and shaky and made a loud noise when used. Must have been annoying for the people in the spa next door to hear.

location and facilites were fantastic but the main draw was the staff who were super helpful. Our hostess Vivienne was amazing, she looked after us very well and nothing was too much trouble for her. Highly recommend.

Breakfast up at the rooftop bar was delicious with the best variety we had anywhere. Really comfortable bed too. We were travelling through Vietnam and Cambodia and this was our favourite hotel. Staff were really helpful and attentive and went above and beyond. I loved the location, a haven in the midst of all the wonderful bustle of Hanoi.

The hotel was great and we received an upgrade to a room with a balcony. The facilities were great and the staff very friendly and helpful. Of note was the Sky Bar - the cocktails and staff were fantastic. The location is amazing in the middle of the Old Quarter with everything within easy walking distance.
