The water at the diamond hotel was a bit odd, one morning it kept sputtering out of the tap erratically. The shower amenities were not refilled/newly replaced the first day when we checked in.

Some times early mornings if you have a tour the water is not available for bath and wash in bathrooms. You have to request the lobby boy to put on the pump. The water then comes after 15 mins. That leads to delays.

It is close to all major attractions and walkable. It is a new property and kept clean. Breakfast is a good spread with variety of fruits, begs, local food and European food to taste. Eggs are available.

Great location, clean and spacious room, clean bathroom, good pressure, warm water, air conditioning, good breakfast (mix of Vietnamese and more western, differences from day to day), great communication through whatsapp and at the front desk. We loved Annie at the reception, she was amazing, good advice and tips and great service. Would definitely come back if I’m in Hanoi again. Great value for money!

Hotel rooms could do with a refresh, slightly dated but still very comfortable. A bit noisy on the street at night but recommend ear plugs to combat that

Balcony was a bit smaller than I expected, but not a major issue at all! I had a really lovely stay.

Excellent location near to the lake and in the hustle and bustle of the old town, but down a side street that was a bit quieter which was nice! Room was not huge (would have had trouble fitting luggage with two people) but very comfortable for one person to stay in. The staff are really lovely and helpful, I booked an airport transfer through the hotel which was really easy and smooth and they were happy to hold my bags until the afternoon when I checked out. It’s also close to lots of delicious street food options, cafes and restaurants. Absolutely recommend for a comfortable stay in Hanoi old town. Very professional staff. I arrived late evening, they were waiting for me and arranged check in in matter of minutes. Room was spacious with bathroom having all the necessities needed (lot of towels). Breakfast - particularly good (self service) with lot of beverages and fruits. Most of attractions in Old Hanoi I was able to visit by walking from the hotel.

This hotel is made stupendous by the attentive staff..A big thank you goes out to Kate who went above and beyond. My husband caught the flu while we were there and she walked down with me to the pharmacy to make sure we received the right medicine. She even shared tips that her family uses to combat the flu. The rest of the staff made To.Go meals for my husband so he wouldn't need to come downstairs to eat. We can't thank them enough. All the staff were so kind. Our room faced the front with big windows. We could see St. Joseph's Cathedral and the action on the street below. Street activities stopped.around 10PM and the cathedral stops ringing at 11PM.

Excellent location in old Hanoi. Easy walk to lake and many restaurants shops etc. Staff were OUTSTANDING. KATE especially was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. Lovely balcony with street view and breakfast included was good variety but go early for best choices.

As we had to adjust to the time zone it would have been great if the breakfast would last a bit longer than 9:30. But really that is just a suggestion, not a complaint.

Fantastic and super friendly service, made us feel like good friends gave us a warm welcome and read our lips for anything we could wish for. The room itself was very spacious, very clean and nicely quiet while being located in the middle of old town with lots of great coffee shops and restaurants around.
