Lack of veggie options at breakfast and dinner. The options at breakfast were not always labeled properly so you didn't know what they were. Not many towels available at poolside.

Room really lovely, modern and clean, fantastic view of the city. Loved the bath. The pool is gorgeous and has a great view. Staff very helpful. Appreciated soya milk being available at breakfast.

There was a slight smoke smell when we originally checked into our rooms. It was probably from the previous guests from other rooms who smoked on the balcony and somehow the smell drifted it. The staff helped by putting in a diffuser and the smell eventually went away so no big issues there. The sauna is not included, it needs to be booked and there is an extra charge.

The rooms were decently sized and clean. The breakfast buffet every morning was amazing and had a wide selection of both Western and Vietnamese dishes. The staff were super helpful, they helped us book a shuttle to Ba Na Hills and other questions during our stay. There was also a pool on the rooftop but unfortunately, we didn't get to use it because it was cold in Da Nang when we went.

Gym was a big disappointment (as it was one of the main reasons why we picked this hotel). Machines are very old and not working properly, not enough weights. No towels, no drinking cups - basics that we would expect from a hotel like this. We were kindly guided to our room and were promised that our luggage is being taken to our room. We were then sitting in our room for well over 15 minutes waiting for our luggage. Then when I went to pick up the luggage myself I found the Concierge in the lobby next to our luggage scrolling on his phone 😄

The room was fantastic and spacious. We got Genius 3 upgrade to deluxe room with bath and it looked great. Breakfast had good options

The sound insulation of the building could be better. At times, there is noise coming from other rooms and from the street level below (karaoke music, loudspeakers of the bao salesmen, etc.), which could potentially affect those visitors who are light sleepers. That said, this is honestly the only fault I could find and with the many positives added up, I don't feel it would be right to deduct a full score point.

Great location, clean and nice smelling facilities, buffet breakfast, attentive staff and overall a top-notch place to stay in Da Nang. With all this in mind, Golden Lotus is well worth the buck and price-to-quality ratio wise offers far more than your cheaper, low-end hostels or big, international 5* chains. I would certainly recommend staying here and I myself intend to return to Da Nang and stay again at the Golden Lotus in the future.

Staff was very good and the in-room dining options were delicious. Chef even made a few out-of-menu dishes for us on request. We also got a free room upgrade to a sea-view room. All in all an excellent experience.

Very charming staff. Polite and helpful, 5 stars! Clean and nice rooms and a rooftop infinity pool. Nice neighborhood with lots of great food. Tip: great Coffee house around the corner - "Sun Coffee" - who serves an incredible coconut coffie.

All our balconies are linked, there is no barrier to block my room from other rooms. So to be safe, we always make sure the balcony doors are locked and close our curtains.

Staff were extremely kind, friendly and very helpful with helping us booking tourist tickets. They also helped to keep a birthday cake for us while we were out. Location was great! So many nice cafes, restaurants and massage places within minutes of hotel. Beach was just abt 8min walk away. Room was spacious and clean.
