Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Bed was so comfortable! The room and everything was very clean. Our favourite part of stay was the service and staff. They couldn’t have been better! So friendly and helpful! Roof top bar was amazing and check in was really smooth and special with welcome drinks and wash. Massage at spa was also great and accommodating on little notice! Location is perfect in old quarter too

JapanThe only issue we had was with the shower in the room because it splashed water on the bathroom floor due to the design. The hotel however are aware of this and are in the process of altering the rooms with those kinds of showers to solve this issue.
The hotel is quite luxurious, and from the first entrance the welcome is very warm. The staff were incredibly helpful, with excellent recommendations of where to visit and very good restaurant choices. The bar on the roof had lovely views and the breakfast buffet was excellent.

stuff was very helpful and well trained, breakfast very tasty, room nice and quiet ;-) I left my phone in taxi going to airport for Phu Quoc flight, called the hotel reception and they called the taxi and kept the phone for me till my come back from Phu Quoc ;-) very romantic, old french style design, rooms not so big but very comfortable and comfortable, great beds...worth coming back for sure next year !

Franceit is a hotel in the center of Hanoi, very close to the lake, in a lively area, the geographical location is perfect. A high-level hotel, very clean, very well appointed, with high-level supplies. The staff takes great care of these customers, it's very pleasant. The breakfast is fantastic! I also recommend afternoon tea at the restaurant, it's delicious!

Hong KongThe hotel is generally quiet, but sometimes noise would travel into the rooms. The waiting time for the single elevator can get long at 'peak' periods.
The hotel is located next to the St. Joseph Cathedral, one of the most popular destinations, and has some nice restaurants nearby. The hotel staff is wonderful and ready to help with different requests. We had an issue with our room and they provided us with a better room, even though they were fully booked. The rooms were comfortable and classy, and even had smart TVs (meaning they had Netflix). The wifi and air conditioning worked well. The breakfast was nice, with a good selection made-to-order Vietnamese food - which tasted nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff were all excellent and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and felt at home. Every time we walk through the front we were greeted by everyone with big smiles, even if we had been in and out multiple times a day. Even small things like asking if we would like cold juice in our room after we had been out on a day trip were unexpected but very appreciated. The staff are really the highlight of the hotel. Location is also excellent with a lot of great restaurants and street food options in walking distance and many Old Quarter attractions not far away.

BrazilThere was a slight smell of mold in the room, which was more perceptible when the air conditioning was turned on.
The hotel is centrally located just a 5-minute walk to Hoan Kiem lake, where you will find most of the attractions in Hanoi. Although it was a very busy street, the room was silent and comfortable. It was definitely one of the breakfasts I have ever had, with both buffet and a la carte service with a great view of the city. Everyone at the hotel went the extra mile to make this a special occasion.

Grand Hotel du Lac is really nicely located in Old Hanoi and gives access to most of the places you would like to visit in city. All hotel staff is exceptionally well-trained and courteous. Ella and Sofie were really helpful throughout the stay. What we liked most about our stay is that we were made to feel special and at home every day of our stay. Wish each member of the crew the very best and keep winning.
