How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Mr. Jack, who offered the kindest service to my parents. It was my first time to send my parents overseas without me, and he told me that he will take care of my parents from now on when I contacted him after their arrival at HAN airport(he actually DID). He continuously sent me the updates about my parents and recommended nice spots for them to enjoy. I have never seen such a kind and gentle person. My parents were so sad to leave the hotel after the check out, without saying good bye to him F2F(he was not at the front desk at that time, I believe). Regarding the hotel itself, my parents absolutely loved the hotel's breakfast and they sent me the beautiful pictures as they were immensely impressed.

The staff is extremely kind and helpful in this hotel. Also the location is great very close to the main Cathedral which is gorgeous during the night. It is surrounded by really good restaurants as well. Full recommendations.

The staff were very friendly and the front desk were super helpful, especially Violet and Lilly. The food at the breakfast was excellent and staff were welcoming and gave us great service.

The room size was too small and not enough space to even keep luggage or clothes.
Great location and clean and comfortable stay. Staff was super helpful and keen to help you with any questions you may have. Breakfast was really good.

Clean, breakfast was good. The staff and service were spectacular. We asked for a baby cot for our stay, and they even included a bathtub for our baby as well. Because we did a 2d1n cruise in the middle of our trip before returning to the same hotel, and the staff all rmb us. Not only that, they also prepared the babycot and bathtub ahead of time. We will definitely return and stay at this hotel again.

The rooms are slightly on the small side, but they are worth it for what you get.
The highlight were the staff - every single one of them was so pleasant, helpful and welcoming that it was incredibly touching. The rooms were super clean, the breakfasts better than most hotels, the spa was incredible value and the location perfect.

The lighting in rooms was ambient and soft which was lovely just would have liked more lighting in bathroom. (Female make up etc) Toilet door is see through glass. Not an issue for us but could be for some
Bed was so comfortable! The room and everything was very clean. Our favourite part of stay was the service and staff. They couldn’t have been better! So friendly and helpful! Roof top bar was amazing and check in was really smooth and special with welcome drinks and wash. Massage at spa was also great and accommodating on little notice! Location is perfect in old quarter too

The only issue we had was with the shower in the room because it splashed water on the bathroom floor due to the design. The hotel however are aware of this and are in the process of altering the rooms with those kinds of showers to solve this issue.
The hotel is quite luxurious, and from the first entrance the welcome is very warm. The staff were incredibly helpful, with excellent recommendations of where to visit and very good restaurant choices. The bar on the roof had lovely views and the breakfast buffet was excellent.

Rooftop was a bit disappointing and the breakfast was not that amazing.

could be more drinking water bottles in room and black coffee as only 3 in 1 coffee was in room
stuff was very helpful and well trained, breakfast very tasty, room nice and quiet ;-) I left my phone in taxi going to airport for Phu Quoc flight, called the hotel reception and they called the taxi and kept the phone for me till my come back from Phu Quoc ;-) very romantic, old french style design, rooms not so big but very comfortable and comfortable, great beds...worth coming back for sure next year !
