The location of the hostel was great- walking distance from many tourist attractions like the post office. The female dorm was clean and the beds were very cosy. The layout of the bathroom was good but was often running out of toilet paper and felt a little dirty

The rooms were very hot, especially on the top bunk. The AC could have been run a little more strongly. There also isn't very much common space downstairs to interact with the other guests.

Good location of the hostel, in the middle of town. There was good food available downstairs for a reasonable enough price. The place itself is also extremely cheap in price.

The showers don't work properly and the general upkeep of the hostel needs attention.

The rooms are cozy and the mattress is comfortable.

The balcony door was covered, which made a room so dark and depressing. There was no private bathroom in dormitory. Bathroom was one floor down and I had to walk down the stairs every time.

Great design of the beds in dormitory. There is a Cafe on the ground floor with delicious sandwiches.

Down to earth no frills, but safe. A good mix of people, sociable. Very close to walking street.

It’s not the best but not the worse. It’s very hot and loud in the dormitory. Hard to sleep. There’s AC but not high enough. Me and couple of others complained about same issue so I know I wasn’t the only one. Also not very hygienic, saw a rat on the ground floor.

Mattress in double room was really poor condition. One of female toilet shower door was broken so couldn't close it.

Good location, handy to grab a Banhmi for brekkie to start a day. A/C worked well.

-pillow was too flat so when I woke up my body was hurting every day -cleaning lady was coming to clean the room around 8 am which was too early and woke me up -this is not the hostels fault but it was extremely noisy in the room, rude guests speaking on the phone after midnight (even though the hostel had a rule not to talk inside the room) as well as constant noise from other guests coming in and out and unpacking their luggages since it was a 14 people room. For the comfort I wouldn't book again as I didn't have proper sleep.

Hostel room was just like in the pictures. Good size bed, 2 lockers one on the bed and one under. The locker under the bed was huge, it could fit all my luggage. Toilet was clean and equipped with hair dryer.

It is little bit smelling with pillow and drap also, need to cleaner, and the stair is really high. I already broke down with this! Need to be careful

I stayed in female dorm, i cant sleep all the night. The door was heavy and make noise when open and close.

Grandma Lu is a good place to stay. Located In the center so easy to walk around. Staff are nice and helpful. They also have free refill water, dont forget to bring your tumblr. Room is comfy too

Needs better air conditioning downstairs to add some relief from the heat. Top bunk beds were a bit of a struggle to climb up.

The staff were so helpful with information and very friendly. The Bahn mi was delicious! The rooms were well air conditioned and quiet. The location was close to most sites and great eateries. I enjoyed sitting in the Cafe drinking good coffee away from the busy traffic.

Staff is exceptionally helpful Hua ,Hong and everyone is super helpful. Best banh mi in that city is this place do not miss it.

The room was quite hot

Such friendly staff, easy check in and very pretty rooms. The bunks felt very private. Bathroom was clean and showers good. Only 2 but we never had to wait for one
