You need to take your shoes off before entering the House and there was a dog barking outside, it was so loud we could not sleep properly.

I had a room on the 4th floor. So many steps. But on the other hand it's healthy to walk te stairs.

This homestay was for me the best one till now in Vietnam. Perfect clean rooms with own bathroom and air-conditioning. The family is very kind and when i left the woman even gave me some 🍌 🍌 for on the road.

Well this is a gem for sure... In the heart of the city where all restaurants and hotels are, yet in a quiet alley. Amazing room equipped with fridge and kettle, spotlessly clean, comfy bed, sure better than many hotels. Very nice owner family. Unbelievable value for money, more than recommended.

To be honest I would have preferred to keep the room keys when I leave the guesthouse, but it was a rule to leave them at the counter. I felt it maybe wasn't as secure, and hence had to bring all my valuables along whenever I go out.

The location was fantastic, can easily access different 'islands' by foot if you wish. Inside the room, there are many wall plugs available to charge the devices. The hosts were fantastic, when I had problems ordering my desired Bun Bo Hue due to language barrier and not knowing the local culture, they help me come up with a written request. The late check-out was also fantastic. It was a pleasant surprise that when I return back to the room at the end of the day, it was nicely made up.

I had a small room up the very top (4 levels), had everything I needed but the tv wasn't set up (which didn't bother me as I was only there one night). Great location and the people were lovely, help you with anything you needed.

All perfect! Great, central location, very clean, comfortable room with soft bed (aaah thank you!) and most of all an incredibly kind and helpful host! She helped me with my motorbike, bus bookings, gave me access to their spaces when i arrived too early. Overal - really great place with awesome host! :)

The room was really comfortable and everyone who helped us very friendly. It was such a good location you didn’t get any of the street noise. Helped us to book our trip to the DMZ.

The room I stayed in has the perfect size for a solo traveler, the location is also very strategic and right in the city centre (but yet it is still quite). The staffs were also able to help with tours and bus booking etc. Highly recommended!

been backpacking for nearly two months and changing places every few days. this place was better than any places we’ve stayed so far! so clean! great location. did a trip through the hotel that we booked late the night before and it was great! all of the staff were so helpful especially as we are travelling with a baby. room was cleaned everyday!

Nothing, there were some cobwebs in the corners of my ceiling but that’s truly the only thing I can come up with. You have to leave your key at the front desk before heading out for the day, I think they do it to keep track of who is still outside before locking up for the night. That didn’t bother me, but others might feel differently.

Great location, very kind and helpful staff, rooms were super clean, cozy, and were freshened up each day, TV with Netflix and YouTube!

It was a perfect one night stay at Guest House Maika. It was less than 10 minutes walk from the drop off point because I took a bus from Hanoi. The house was extremely clean & well-maintained. I arrived very early so Maika gave me a towel so I could freshen up in the shower room as my room was not yet ready. And when I came back my heavy luggage was already in my designated room. Bed was very comfortable and pillows were as soft as cotton so I slept like a baby. I did not have to buy water as I could refill my bottle outside my room which was lovely. I wish I could stay for one more night but shall I come back to Hue, I will definitely book here again. The price was unbeatable at £8.00 for a double room with aircon. Thanks again Maika!

Everything is amazing. It is family run and the staff are kind and helpful. It's exceptionally clean. The bed is firm and I slept very well. Aircon is good. The location is brilliant. I didn't want to leave I felt very at home there. It's exceptionally good value.

The shower was not great as the positioning was strange and water got everywhere. After the water temperature calms down after being too hot i would say you had about 2 minutes before running out of warm water. Might be enough time for 1 person but not 2.

Great location. Free water to fill bottles up. Room was pleasant enough for what we needed. Staff happy and friendly looking to help in anyway they can.

Our room was on the 4th floor without lift. Card payments are accepted but 3%fee is charged.

The location was good, next to all the restaurants and night pubs. We could do the check-in a bit early as well.
