The owners are absolutely lovely people!!! Don’t do what I did and book a boat tour from Hanoi. Let them help you book a tour so that you get out before the crowds arrive ( and it’s cheaper) . I borrowed a bike and cycled along the coast, went to the museum (excellent) and saw the fish market.

Such a warm welcome from Lilly’s family. They made us feel so welcome and weee super helpful. We had everything we needed in the room…. Even an electric blanket for if we felt cool!!! Fantastic place to stay.

Amazing place with one of the best views. It was just a pleasure to sit in the morning on the balcony and enjoy the view. Room was nice, clean, bed was big. There is nothing I can complain about. Perfect place for a stay. Close to the promenade where you can walk Owners are very kind and helpful, breakfast was delicious ;)

We stayed at Lily's homestay for 2 nights to visit Halong bay. Exceptional experience in every aspect. Communication with Lily was very smooth. Lily's parents are such lovely people who made all what they could to make us feel like home: they stayed up late to accommodate us checking-in late (after 01:00 am), Lily's mom asked if we were hungry and proposed to cook us dinner. They helped us booking our Halong day cruise and arranging taxis. The home made breakfast was lovely and delicious. Lily's mom suggested few restaurants at the neighborhood, we tried one of them and it was amazing. We had the room with the bay view, it's spacious and very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Really lovely homestay with a traditionally decorated room and a comfortable bed. Great view over the bay from our balcony and even better from the rooftop. Family that own it is super nice and very helpful. I would highly recommend this homestay.

Huong (Lily’s mother) and her father are super nice, their home is big and beautiful, in front of the sea! You can easily go to the beach on foot or by bicycle! Huong give us some tips around! We definitely recommend to stay at their place

The mattress was very hard and not comfortable for myself.

Lovely family. Very helpful with all our questions. We could walk to either the beach or a large market. Good local restaurants. Great view on the upper patio. Seperate bathroom wasnt bad. Nice to have air conditioning!

We booked the room last minute in the evening and even though their check-in was already closed the family was very welcoming and supportive! To be honest they saved our day. They helped us to book a cruise for the next day (also last minute) and even drove us to the meeting point with their own car for a small and very fair fee. The room was the best we had on our whole journey through Vietnam, everything was super clean and a special mention should go to the amazing view you have from the balcony directly on the ocean! The breakfast also was very tasty and everyone spoke English. Book your stay here if you are in Halong and you will have a wonderful time! The owners are very friendly, its a family owned hotel and the rooms are very comfortable. We would love to stay here anytime!

The host of the house was very helpful and a pleasant woman. We interacted, talked. They helped me with all my questions and guided me around the city. The view from the balcony was amazing. Amazing view form the balcony, next to a pretty little beach. Everything was clear and secure, the hosts are adorable and here to help. If you want to do a boat tour in halong bay don’t hesitate to book here with them Highly recommended if you want a place to feel like home (they also have a nice little cat and a doggy)

The location is great, you can have a view to the Halong Bay from the balcony. Just across the street, you can walk along the bay enjoying the cool view on a nice pedestrian route. There are plenty of restaurants around and a big supermarket within walking distance. The house is beautiful with flowers everywhere. The host is super nice and helpful. They cook very tasty breakfast for us.

It’s a beautiful home and a wonderful family. Of you’re a bit adventurous it’s possible to rent an automatic scooter 🛵 which allows you to enjoy the environment and explore surroundings on your own.

The rooms were very spacious and immaculately clean. Lovely large bathroom as well with an enclosed shower area. The host and her family were very helpful and welcoming. They went out of their way to help me get cash for the rest of our holiday. A most wonderful family. The view of the bay from their top terrace was stunning.

After 10 - 15 min of tango under hot water, you will run out of hot water. So if you decide to use the bathtube, it will probably be in cold water 🤔. But in time of energy crises .. save the planet, right? !

The host (family) are very helpsome and nice. Nice service and facilities. This homestay deserve to be recommended 😍 .

Fantastic location, great shared terrace with a view, really warm and hospitable hosts. All the privacy you want, but still feeling at home. The cruise they recommended and booked for us was good and great value for price, we also had help with transfer to and from the port. Would absolutely come back!

Building works next door noisey but i have good earplugs!!!

Lily parents lovely nothing was a problem so helpful.......lovely breakfast excellent coffee..the room clean and comfortable bed.......they arrange a luxury car to take me to the airport cat bi he was a very good driver. I want to stay there again .....
