+ A cozy bed and clean room. +The host speaks English very well and her even sang for us. She was very helpful sharing all information in Ha Long for my trip. The places her introduced were amazing, it was a different aspect of my experience when coming to Ha Long.

Mattress was very hard but this is come to be expected all around southeast asia. Motorbike rental was hiked from 150k to 200k due to it being a weekend - not sure why this was? Thought this was a little bit pricey...Bike was completely empty of gas to start with too... A little bit away from the main city but easy enough to get a taxi there. People above us were stamping around like elephants and the rooms are not soundproof at all, this can't be helped though.

Lovely couple owners who go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay. Quiet at night as it is away from the hustle bustle. Room is very clean and well looked after. Nice air con and nice hot showers. Owners can help you out with anything you need including booking onward travel.

The hosts were welcoming and friendly, even going so far as to cook dinner and dine with guests. This provided a wonderful opportunity for socializing. Additionally, they assisted with booking tours and transportation. The location is conveniently close to stores and the bridge, which offers a unique experience of walking across it at night.

There was a dog barking all evening (even though it’s not the owner fault). Wifi was not very powerful in our room (maybe it’s just Vietnamese standards) and we didn’t like the synthetic blanket without sheeting. Breakfast very simple (eggs and toasts)

The family running the place is lovely. The building and the room are very well designed and decorated, we loved it ! Situated in the “local” part of Ha Long, you don’t feel like a tourist but in a real Vietnamese city. Not far from main attractions. AC unit is efficient.

The host is super helpful and accommodating on helping me from my journey to HaLong. The place very clean and homey. There is a Circle K right next to it so basic grocery buying is very convinient.

The blankets were unhygienic and had hair over them, but it wasn't too big of a deal.

I loved this little homestay. Listening to the host play guitar and tell us about her upbringing in postwar Vietnam was one of the highlights of my whole trip. The room I stayed in was gorgeous - such a lovely design and comfy bed. The cheap family dinner was amazing too - they just kept bringing out more and more food. At night we used the free bicycles to cycle down to the beach. A chill, cozy, great place to stay.

the hosts are incredibly welcoming and help you with everything , such lovely people! they even have guitars that you can borrow as well as bycicles to explore the area. The rooms and the bathroom were super clean and they also provide towels:) I couldn’t wish for more! Thank you so so much for everything!

I think the bathroom should be more functional (eg have a polyban instead of a bathtub) and that the bunk beds should have curtains to prevent perfectly unknown guests from sleeping and breathing so close together.

I particularly liked the friendliness and availability of the hostess, as well as the price-quality ratio of the property.

Nice family homestay in halobay. The breakfast is nice, beds and bathroom clean. Also the host is awesome and friendly to guide you and have conversation around vietnamese culture and music. They allowed me early checkin thankful for it. I would recommend to try this place

Room was sooo cute, nice decoration. Bathroom is outside of it but it was okay since it was just next to our door. You can have a breakfast there which is okay, staff is so nice and helpful, they allowed us to borrow their bicycles. It is located in a busy area so you won’t have any problem to find restaurants, stores or taxis.

The level of attention before I even arrived was incredible from Hien and her husband to make my trip as easy as possible. It made me feel like I was the only person staying there, even though this was not the case! This even included a pick-up from the Cat Ba Ferry, and then the accommodation itself was great - and also got to spend time speaking English with their nephew and his friend who were so eager to learn. All in all, a great experience!

the beds were very close together and so it would have been uncomfortable sleeping next to a stranger without a curtain, however we were in a group so this did not matter.

beds were lovely, spacious and comfy. the air con worked well and breakfast included was a great bonus. the bathroom facilities weee fine and it was nice to have towels, as well as flannels.

Advertised free breakfast but it wasn’t included, but it was only 30k so very cheap and tasty!

We had a lovely time at the homestay. Very good price for the room and the owners helped us organise a trip around Ha Long Bay for a good price. We had family dinner one night which was lovely! Overall we had a great stay here and recommend it.
