A bit dated

A bit dated , but for the money it was good , even could just see the river from our room , great location not far to walk for bars and food

Very noisey as next to Main Street, there are bugs, I saw a cockroach this morning in the bathroom, the bath doesn’t have a plug, the water was cold so couldn’t fill it up

I have stayed here several times before but this was my first visit back in 4 years. Rooms now a bit dated and shabby, with repairs to plumbing, electrics and furniture required, and the hotel needs a good clean.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and every time I come back to HCMC I want to stay somewhere with a higher standard. This hotel has a tired feel to it and is in desperate need of renovation. Carpets in the dark narrow hallways are threadbare and paint and wallpaper are chipped and battered. Bathrooms are functional but feel tired which is the same as the towels and bed sheets. Breakfast on the roof I stay away from as basic and poor, and I go out to eat much better food from a street vendor for $2. However, all that said it is difficult to find a hotel for this price that is in such a great location. It is an ok stay at a very reasonable price in a fantastic location, just don't expect anything to impress you. The only part of the hotel at a reasonable standard is reception.

Location. Close to main attractions and main road but it is not noisy. You can sleep good. Good value for the money!!!

The price point for this is very affordable. I had a late flight and booked this mainly to have a place to shower and take a quick nap, so it did its job

The restaurant is closed. The images on the site are a little deceiving. I sense a degree of apathy on part of the management. In my “VIP” room was left wanting , unless VIP has a different meaning in Vietnamese 😂. Requests to have a simple globe replaced and a down light seen to went unaddressed. There was mould in the bathroom…. As with many hotels of this level.

The location was perfect for my needs!! The staff at Asian Ruby were great. No complaints about the helplessness and friendliness of the staff.

Very dated furnishings. Insects and insect eggs over the ceiling and walls. Killed a Crocroach. Intermittent water flow. Big hole and Mould on the ceiling

Breakfast was supposed to be included but upon arrival we were informed there is no longer a restaurant. Lack of communication regarding this - they could have advised us ahead of time. Allegedly we got a room upgrade, but we had already been upgraded when booking, so this did not ring true! Photos still show a restaurant.

Great spa and lovely lobby. Room was good. Hallways and lift need serious upgrading - very shabby. Area was ok.

The place needs a bit of a renovation. Very slow tiny lift. Our room had a window, which is nice, but that made it loud as the air vents are right beside it.

Although we chose it because it was a more affordable option in district 1. However the photos were quite appealing and we didn’t expect the room to be so basic, even the shower wasn’t working properly. It’s still an economic option in district 1, but don’t expect too much.
