The only downside would be if you are a light sleeper, due to the location on the edge of beer street in the Old Quarter. There is street noise that is noticeable in the we evenings from neighbouring bars, but does seem to stop around midnight. If you are out in it you wouldn’t notice, and it does quieten down after midnight. Light sleepers or those seeking an early night would be best using ear plugs.

I enjoyed my time in Hanoi stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is central for visiting the cities main tourist attractions, with plenty of food and drink establishments on your doorstep. The room was a good size and the bed comfortable.

The hotel is in a great location if you want to be in the heart of the old quarter. It was nicely appointed and breakfast was very good, although we went to the sister hotel to have it. The Staff was very accommodating. Kelly was outstanding and willing to do whatever it took to make our plans work. She was fabulous!

Our 3rd time here. We always loved the location and the staff. The main reason why we book this place is for the room with the large balcony. Great place to hang out and for watching Hanoi life. The bed is comfortable and shower is good.

I booked this knowing that beer street can be noisy and chaotic so the plus point that it is near beer street can also be an issue if you can’t tolerate noise. It was bearable for me though but just be mindful of this fact.

it’s near a lot of good and inexpensive food, near beer street if you are into that kind of thing, near spas, atm, even near the drop off point for passengers taking the sleeping bus from Sapa. It is near what you need within reach as a traveller. the staff were also very pleasant, specially Kelly, and also the other night lobby person. My room was clean everyday! will definitely stay here again!

My friend and I had such a lovely stay at the Bella Rosa! we are checked in quickly on arrival and upgraded to a lovely room without even requesting. The room was high up, above the sounds of the city. Beds were large and comfortable. We were given very helpful recommendations on where to eat, buy gifts, and even where to get a haircut. Would definitely stay again!

awesome location in the middle of the hussle an bussel. soon as you walk out the door places to eat drink, around corner there are places to buy clothes, bags, shoes, nearly everything you need and want. reception lady was always very friend, happy and asked if we needed our room cleaned everyday we went out. she could also speak very good English.

Bella Rosa was in the perfect location in Old Quarter. Not a far walk from Bus Stop 86 which I took from Noi Bai Airport. The hotel is located at a very busy street so soon as you step out there will be plenty of restaurants, cafes, and pubs to choose from. With that said, it won’t come as a surprise that it can be loud at night. Something to note if you’re a light sleeper.

The hotel is in a great location but the street was noisy at night which wasn't ideal with a 3am wake up (absolutely not the hotels fault though!).

The owner was really lovely and couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. She gave me an early check in after I arrived early and didnt feel great and arranged for us to use the microwave to make breakfast at 3am before a race (we were there for a marathon). My bed was comfy and my room was clean. Really good value for money!
