The lady at the reception speaks English very well, she is nice and helpful, she helped with planning the next trip and booked the train and the bus. We took a tour to Halong bay through the hotel reception and it was really nice. The advantage of accommodation near the center with good access to the city's attractions. I can only recommend.

The staff makes really the difference. We were sick on our last day and both Walkie and Anna were very helpful and showed their care towards us.

They sometimes pressure you to book too many things with them, but that's normal culture in Vietnam, where everyone is trying to sell you something and you have to firmly say no. But they are very polite and gentle about it, so I don't have any issues with that, just an FYI for people who are not used to the culture.

Staff was very friendly (almost too friendly) and very useful. I was able to book other services with them, such as pickup / drop from airport as well as some day-trips. They allowed use of a restroom and A/C to freshen up upon arriving and before leaving despite being before check-in/after check-out time. They also sold local SIM cards and made sure they worked on my phone. The person in charge was Anna and I am very happy with her.

Comfortable rooms, great location and exceptional service from the staff who go above and beyond to help their guests. From local recommendations to helping you book your trips they can help you 100%. My flight was 11hrs after my check out and they helped me out a lot by making sure I was comfortable as possible - I kept my luggage at the hotel and they even let me use their facilities for showers and freshening up even though I had already checked out long ago. Highly recommend!

The only con is not being able to run the AC while you are out. It’s soooo hot in Vietnam so naturally the rooms get very hot. Unless you can run it pretty much continuously, it takes hours for the room to cool down to a good level.

What's not to like? It was perfect!

Our four-day stay at The Hanoi Chic Boutique Hotel was fantastic - from the concierge service... - A big shoutout to Walkie, who took care of everything for us, even before we had arrived into Hanoi - He had a cab arranged to pick us up at the airport and also, acquired a sim card for me which I later picked up from the reception on arrival). To the breakfast spread every morning - phenomenal! Not only was it delicious but it offered variety. No repeats. The room was spacious, cleaned out everyday (they changed our linen on a daily basis), and offered air-conditioning with no power outages. For our activities in Hanoi, Ann from customer service, mapped out tourist spots that we could cover on a walk about town. I would highly recommend the Chic Boutique Hotel for your travels to Hanoi. I bet it'll exceed your expectations, too!

My partner and i stayed here for several days and absolutely loved it. The receptionists Anna and Rose went above and beyond to help us plan our time in Vietnam; from booking our Ha Giang Loop tour, to booking our cruise in Ha Long bay, to arranging transportation between each destination and evening keeping our large bags in hotel storage while we were gone. We received constant message updates on whatsapp and they always made sure all our needs were accounted for. The rooms were great, breakfast was lovely and the hotel is in the perfect location to walk everywhere. If you’re on the fence about booking because there may be cheaper options out there, dont be. Absolutely worth every penny for how well taken care of we were.

There was a slight smell from the bathroom sink - it wasn't too bad, we just shut the bathroom door at all times. We also lost a few socks through the laundry service.

The location, we walked all around Hanoi with Chic Boutique as our base. The staff were incredible and got us into our room early after our overnight train from Sapa. I came down with a cold while staying there and it was a great hotel to rest and recuperate in.
