Our laundry was late by about 45 minutes when we were getting ready to leave Hanoi. Fortunately, we had hired a private car so did miss our ride. It would have been bad if we had bus tickets though.

The bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of tables, chairs, and places to put your things. The patio was nice and had furniture. The host family was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious.

The accommodation was perfect for us. Really comfortable bed, great breakfast, gorgeous family, very reasonable price and fantastic location. My partner was feeling unwell and our host Perfume went to the pharmacy and got medication for him. Amazing woman.

There was nothing that I disliked.

It's an amazing place, ideally situated in the famous Old Quarter, next to the train street. Perfume is a wonderful host, welcoming and helping all her guests with a smile. Staying there felt like home away from home. I would highly recommend it and would like to stay there in my future Vietnam visit.

The owner was all the time around and helped us with everything. We got a lot of tips on where to go and what to see. She helped us plan our trip and organized a bus with pickup from the hotel. Breakfast was very delicious and even as we asked with a huge jetlag at 11.30 am it was no issue. Great first stop in Vietnam. 100% recommendation from us.

The hostess Perfume is what made this an exceptional stay. Coming to her property was like visiting a family member. As soon as we walked in she started caring for us- feeding us, making sure we could take a shower after long travels and helping us book ANYTHING and EVERYTHING we needed. The weather happened to be good in Sapa for the next few days so she got us on a bus, arranged a guide and a homestay there and promised to take care of us at her property when we came back to Hanoi. She was always just a quick what's app message away. She was better than a concierge! I would stay at her property to make the connection alone.

We arrived very early and were still allowed to check in. Breakfast was good, Perfume also gave us a complimentary home cooked meal with her family and friends which was a nice touch. She also allowed us to leave our suitcases at the property on the day we left. She works incredibly hard to make your stay the best it can possibly be. She will book you trips, offers SIM cards and travel money and has a cute dog. The location is also perfect in the old town just a hundred metres from train street. The reviews are correct this is a gem in the centre of the chaos of Hanoi.

We stayed for two nights at perfume's homestay. Our room was Perfect, the location ideal and the breakfast delicious. We were able to change money at a good rate and get a taxi to the airport thanks to Perfume. We really enjoyed our stay and recomend the place with no doubt.

Unfortunately the room had no window but this is a small inconvenience compared to the lovely hospitality!

Perfume and her family are incredibly nice and will make their greatest effort to make your Stay as good and convenient as possible. She welcomed us with fresh fruits and Drinks and immediately helped us organize the rest of our trip :) big recommendation!!

This is a budget option and the facilities are pretty tired, but as long as your expectations are tempered towards it being a budget option then it’s perfectly fine for a few days

My wife and I had the best hotel treatment we had in our lives! Everything we needed in Hanoi was arranged by the owner of the place (great English and very polite). We highly recommend the place. the location of the place is also excellent.another very relevant observation: our room smelled wonderful, as did our clothes that we washed (they offer a great laundry service).

We requested them to clean the room while giving over the room keys early in the morning before leaving for the day. But sadly they forgot and it was something I don’t appreciate in the hospitality industry.

The hospitality and the location of this property is really noteworthy! We were greeted and received by the owner herself. The room was super spacious for three people with a big washroom. It was little old but still no complaints.

No elevator and I had the room in the 4th floor. And the neighboring building were doing some renovation so it was a bit loud early in the morning

I like the location. It was a little walk from the old quarters and other attractions such as the war museum or the train road. And the breakfast was also really nice. But I must say the best part is definitely the family. They are all so lovely and helpful. The room was nice and clean. Good water pressure and good internet connection too

Breakfast food and pastries were amazing! Staff were so attentive .The coffee in the restaurant is amazing . My room were very clean. Perfume and her family are the most friendly people I have ever met in my life . She is so helpful in helping you to book the transfort to get to the homstay, print off documents.she booked for us the tour to Ha Long Bay and is was fantastic. I had a wonderful trip with my foreign husband .However , we definietly come back again
