How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff where really helpfull They helped me get a good foothold in Hanoi and had good advice. When i had a small imcident linked to a bug they took care of it fast. I can only recommend

Friendly staff in a very convenient location we only stayed for one night but was very comfortable. Was really nice they upgraded us to a larger room with beautiful balcony would definitely recommend for Hanoi stay

Nothing, everything was great.
We had a fantastic time at Hanoi Flora Hotel. The location is right in the heart of the old quarter, perfect for exploring. The staff are amazing, all of them were so kind, welcoming and professional, they helped us with everything. They organised laundry for us, and even booked us a last minute bus to Hanoi Giang, it was great. The room was lovely and clean, with a super comfy bed. I would defiantly return to this hotel, and recommend it to everyone.

There's no safety box in our room. The walls have streaks and the tile bathroom is chipped. It needs repainting.
Customer service is the best! The receptionists are very helpful and our room is getting cleaned every afternoon. The hotel is close to Hanoi Old Quarter and the best food spots.

Not a dislike, but a pre-warning some hotels and also restaurants charge a VAT charge on the bill (3-4% on your full payment) if you pay by card. We’ve got caught out when we’ve arrived as we weren’t aware of it so keep that in mind! We recommend taking some cash with you so you don’t have to pay extra as it quickly adds up.
Nice, clean hotel to stay in the city centre of Hanoi. Staff is really helpful and we were looked after the whole stay.

Everything was good. I do found it a bit odd that when we checked out before 06:00 all lights were off in lobby and 2 employees were laying with a blanked on the couches, however they were still very helpful. This is something we saw in more hotels throughout Vietnam.
Staff was friendly and the location was great! It was not located on a busy street which helped in making it more quiet as Hanoi is a very busy city.

We arrived the Hotel like 9am . And we understand that their check in time is 2pm but I tried to ask the front desk if it's possible for an early check in and they answered me they are going to message me if the room is already vacant and clean. We ate at Pho ly and when we go back to our hotel at 1030am they said they can accommodate us already for an early check in. They are very considerate April 15 the day we arrived was also my birthday 😊. So , we rest early and go out in the afternoon. The hotel is clean.Has a nice breakfast. All staff here is very friendly. To the front desk ,I'm sorry I didn't get your names but I guess one of the two ladies is Ms CiCi than you so much for being so accommodating and to the other lady thank you also If you go to Hanoi choose Hanoi Flora Hotel they are near -walking distance to some tourist spot like Hoan Kiem ..and cafe like the note coffee , restaurants like Bun cha Dak Kim . See you again end of this year.

Overall was really good and would happily stay again, only very minor things in the negative camp - nitpicking really.
Fantastic location, very walkable to all the main attractions, lots of good food places close by. Super lovely staff. Clean, comfortable room. Breakfast was good. Good value.

Breakfast could be facilitated better. As many other comments on the platform, main concern is space and not refilling bfst in time. All items finish very fast, can be organize better in terms in terms of service and clearance. We could not seat properly as there was no seats for all of us and we had to clear tables ourselves.
Great location, comfortable beds, polite and helpful staff. Cici was great.

Location was the best I ever experienced. Everything so close... Hoan Kiem lake, Train street, sightseeings for a walk. Staff was really kind and helpful, the excursions they served, pretty good!

The cost of the stay was far higher than what this type of hotel should charge. We booked through Booking.com for other cities in Vietnam and stayed at 1/3rd or 1/4th of the cost at similar type of hotels
The location was superb, in the middle of the old quarter. So as a tourist, I did not have to travel much.
