The location was great and since it was the weekend, we were in the heart of the night markets. The staff was always helpful, providing recommendations and ensuring we had a comfortable stay.

I would like to have choice of pillow

I liked everything. Location is great, just 1 min walk to the lake, a lot of coffee, food around. Hotel is gorgeous, room spacious and maintained well. I really like the design and furniture. Mattress is good, pillow s are a bit hard for my test but the rest is wonderful. Definitely will come back to this hotel. This is my 4th hotel in Hanoi and the best one

Room was beautiful and located in the heart of the old quarter. Staff were friendly and always helpful with anything we needed. Room stayed cool while we were out all day. Was nice to return to after walking around in the summer heat. Will stay here again!

Set in a great location near the lake and within easy walking distance of lots of restaurants. The staff were friendly and welcoming and did everything they could to make it a great stay. They offered to organise trips for us but we had already booked a walking tour so didn't use this service. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean with a good bathroom. Breakfast was a bit confusing (my fault, didn't listen properly) as you order it the day before and it was much more than I expected. Overall, a lovely experience

One side of the hotel that faces directly into another building. You can't really open your windows for privacy reasons.

The location was superb, it was within 5mins of Hoen Kiem Lake and there's plenty of food.

Royal holiday Hanoi is in the middle of all the action at the old quarters and perfect to explore the old town by walk. The rooms are small but super comfortable and breakfast was excellent. They are very helpful and the best is right next door you have a good money exchange and tour operator.

This is a small hotel in a relatively small street, not too busy by Hanoi's standards and within walking distance to the lake and Water Puppet Theatre. Our room overlooked the street but noise wasn't a problem. In fact it was nice watching life in the street. There were eateries, massage spas and an ice cream shop in the same street as the hotel. The breakfast was good and cooked to order. It was served in the lobby. The staff were friendly and could not have been nicer. Our twin room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

lovely hotel in a perfect location. we got upgraded to a huge room and it was very well furnished and comfortable. Huyen at the front desk was really helpful and polite. will be back if we are in Hanoi again!
