The driver that was supposed to take us to the bus station to go to the mountain was really unfriendly. We were instructed to wait at the lobby by 6.30am but he came banging our door at 6 am. We have to rush like mad to go down. Really an unpleasant experience.

The receptionist is very friendly and the hotel is considered good based on it's price. The breakfast is good and the rooms that we stayed is quite decent since it's a family of 4. Everything is good.

Room was a little narrow, also the stairs in the upper floor. Only possible for slim people.

The Guest House was difficult to find, being located in a narrow alley The reception desk was not always manned

The Guest House was excellent value for money Lucy was very helpful, particularly with arranging tour and transport bookings at a very reasonable cost Considering the room rate the room had all the facilities that I required (En suite toilet, A/c, WiFi, Kettle, Comfortable bed)

This hotel is very central. Everything in the old quarter was easy to access from here. The owner was helpful and made bookings for us when we needed help. Breakfast was great too. While the facilities are basic, the bed is comfy, and everything is clean. We only required a place to put our head as we were out exploring all day, and this hotel was perfect for that.

The room was extremely squeezy! No room bedside the beds (end to end) to pass by. The bathroom was basic with no separation between the shower and toilet so everything got wet. The lift was tiny and the stairwell very narrow.

Good location tho extremely hard to find down a few lanes with no signage. Easy walk to Old Town. Breakfast was basic but yummy.

Comfortable soft bed and pillows and a private balcony. Close proximity to the main area of old town Hanoi - 10 minute walk. Lucy the host was very helpful. She let me park my motorbike inside for the night which I appreciated very much. Thanks for the enjoyable stay!

Lucy is an amazing hostess. She really looks after you. She helps so much. She is so kind and friendly. She helped us book tickets and tours. She does nice breakfast and coffee. We arrived late and it was dark. She came to meet us at the taxi to guid us to the guest house. She also brought us water and walk us to a shop. She helped with any questions we had. And came to see us off when leaving. Rooms are basic but you have everything you need and it's enough. Hot running water, clean bedding comfortable bed, kettle. For the price and what you pay to stay here you can't complain. Cheap and cheerful. It's not perfect, but they care.

We had a cold shower but it did woke us up. Room is a little small, but one of the two rooms we had had an extra bed so we could put our backpacks on the spare bed.

The lady of the house is a great help and very friendly. The eggs with vegetables are amazing: probably the best we had during our trip. The location is perfect and you’ll got great value for your money. It’s simple but has everything you need. We had a small fridge which we enjoyed. She gave us really reasonable prices for the tours. It saved us time figuring out the best schedule, since she helped planning. So we got to see all we wanted without loosing time waiting or unnecessary extra overnights. We could call or send questions via WhatsApp when needed. Would stay here again.

Great location in the old quater. Hidden in a little street so less noise from the street. Good for one or two nights.
