How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

They charged us for drinking water . We stayed with them for three days with 500ml of water .
Staffs have very welcoming nature & hospitality , Location of the hotel is good , They can improve some facilities in the hotel . For examples , bathroom size , a/c needs to be fixed .

We were in Hanoi for 3 nights. Great location, within walking distance of attractions in Old quarter. I appreciated that it was on a quiet side street so that there were no traffic noises. Breakfast was delicious, with many options including western and Vietnamese. The staff were very friendly and easy to communicate with. They helped us book an overnight cruise to Halong Bay, and a day tour to Ninh Binh. They also helped us arrange airport transfers. We had an excellent stay and would go back again!

I had a very good massage at the hotel. But the masseuse seemed to have a cold and did not wear any mask.

Plumbing was quite sensitive (toilet blocked) but staff fixed promptly, the shower was difficult to figure out and hot water took good 5 min to heat up, electricity plugs were loose in the sockets

The Breakfast can have more variety. They can improve the Spa facilities. Plus it is locked early morning. So in case the people have to leave early morning, they would have top wake up the Reception. I can understand this is a small setup, but they may need to be a bit more innovative on this.
Good Central location with friendly and courteous staff who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. On our request, they made a decoration with flowers for our room on our wedding anniversary day. They even arranged a taxi for us at a very early hour for our return to the airport. I would like to thank Lyn who was very friendly and arranged the decor for our anniversary. The hotel organized good tours to Halong bay and Nin Binh.

We had an excellent experience in here. Tom even offered us a late check out and the entire staff were very polite and super friendly. Highly recommend. Will surely come back again. Total 5 starts!!!

If you arrive late at night to check-in, the hotel is situated in a little dark corner, which made a bit harder to locate.
Special thanks to friendly staff who went above and beyond to accomodate our stay. Especially Tom, Matthew and Lyn. They made our stay at the hotel enjoyable.

Amazing hotel, the service is the best I have ever seen. Our trip in Vietnam got shortened and that is why we had to cramp a lot of things/tours in a very short time and we thought it was not going to be possible due to logistical reasons such as tour times and hotel check in and check out. But this hotel made it all possible. We want to thank them for everything they have done for us! They allowed us to check out later when our tour bus would leave at night. They also took care of our luggage while we were away doing the Ha Giang loop for 3 days. All the extra service that they provide for you is not with extra costs. Everything feels very genuine, which is highly appreciated! The room is very clean and the breakfast is impeccable. They provide many different options, you have a large variety of western food but also Vietnamese food if you prefer that. We will definitely stay in this Hotel again next time we visit. We want to give a special thanks to Jack and Tuan. They supported us in many ways. But of course we do know they don’t work by themselves so we also want to thank everyone else that was working during our stay. We initially wanted to stay only 2 nights but we extended to 6 nights.

It was a hidden gem. You can’t see it from the street. You have to walk down an alley to reach it but once you arrive, the place is beautiful.
Cleanliness and customer service was superb. Jack has a great personality and did whatever to accommodate our needs b highly satisfied.

It is slightly inside a street but its okay as the street is close to everything, there was some water from our airconditioner but thats okay as the staff helped. Overall very nice experience to be honest.
The staff is amazing, the guy on the breakfast is stronger everyday, and we love it! Breakfast was good tasty and local options were there. Very good for vegetarian and vegan people as well.

The price was affordable and most importantly the hospitality of the staff was nicer. The hotel is in the central hanoi which makes it easily accessible to the night market, shopping area and of course night life.

When in your room you could hear the neighbours. The bathrooms are a little small as it can be difficult to get in ond out when opening and closing the door. Not a dealbreaker, but more just something I didn't like.
Great location, great staff, very friendly. Would stay there again. Staff were very helpful. As soon as I arrived, they pointed out great places to visit and eat on the map. They also organised transport back to the airport when it was time to leave. Rooms were comfortable and big enough.
