How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A bit rundown, but still a good place to stay at this price.
Great location - near the tourist attractions, restaurants. Super helpful staff! The room was spacious and clean, good shower, nice firm bed, good aircon, lift to go on upper floors, wifi. Priced fairly.

We were surprised at the beginning because the hotel is near the railway. But is has been not a problem due to to the fact that there is few train

nothing, it was perfect for a short stay in the city. i would happily return.
The Staff were so friendly and helpful, rooms were very clean, shower was hot and they provide toiletries, location is close to everything.

The staff were really kind and helpful. We even received an upgraded room when returning for our second stay. Location is also great. We were able to walk everywhere. Plenty of restaurants close by too.

The location of the hotel is great. The fact that the hotel is located in Hanoi's Old Quarter makes it easy to explore the surrounding area by foot. The room was a bit small but very comfortable and above all clean. We were particularly happy with the extremely friendly and helpful hotel staff. They assisted us with all our questions and requests. They speak great English. Unfortunately, our suitcases were lost at the airport but the staff member Dinhan did everything she could to help us and even had the suitcases brought to our new accommodation. We are very grateful and would come back at any time.

Very friendly staff and room had everything we needed: huge bed, nice room size, comfy shower. They organize tours to Ninh Binh, Halong Bay and others, also taxi/grab to airport for fair price (better than Grab)

Duc and Daisy were the receptionists during my stay and they were super helpful! They helped me check in with my flight, book a taxi to the airport and print out all the necessary documents. Furthermore, the hotel is located right in the centre!

The wifi was a little patchy at times
Very nice and helpful staff with very good English. We booked the ha giang loop through them and it was very smooth and easy and the tour company was great

As with all Asia the mattress are always hard and the pillow to.
Great spot for walking to train street..loads of cheap street food nearby. Staff were so polite and I experienced the same when I came in 2016 to Vietnam..the Vietnamese are so willing to please.

It is not exactly like the pictures, but nothing to be worried about.
We enjoyed our stay. Best part is it’s in a back alley so it’s very quiet. Nice big room. And very useful staff. Close to train street.

The room was a bit noisy at night due to activities on the street, and at very late/abnormal hours. The beds were also a little hard and the AC didn't work great at times, but this did not take away from the experience for me. It's just something to consider and be ready for.
The staff at the hotel were amazing. I had the best customer service experience. They responded to all questions via WhatsApp right away, and were always very kind and made sure that we had everything we needed. They also allowed us to leave our luggage in their lobby for free all day after checking out, as we had a late flight. The location was also fantastic, located perfectly in the city center and close to tons of restaurants and shops, as well as close to Train Street.

Nothing. Value for Money. Family room much bigger than a twin room.
Jasmin, Duc and Jasmin were so welcoming and wonderfully helpful at front desk. Good value. Air Con very cold. Shower good. Our room had a balcony. Beds are harder than used to but still comfortable. Very close to train street which is fun for a couple of drinks. Kettle in room great for 2 min Noodles for the kids snacks.

Nothing specific but wash room needs a little maintenance.
The property has an excellent location just 1.4 km from night market and central lake. There were few issues with the washroom. But rest were all ok. Staff were very helpful. We booked our day tours from the hotel and got good quality service.
