I loved this place a lot! What stood out was its amazing location and the staff behaviour. They always greet you with a smile and help you in every possible way. The location of this place is great too, a walking distance from all cafés, hoan kiem lake. The advantage is the tour buses will pick you up from the reception itself!

If you just need a practical place to stay that's not a social party hostel this place is perfect - I was only in town for a day, arriving early in the morning on an overnight train before catching a flight later the same day, so the 24hr reception was fantastic, making it no problem at all to arrive at a very early hour. The dorm had everything you need, curtains, lockers, individual lights & power sockets, the bathroom was clean, the staff were very helpful and the location's conveniently bang in the middle of the old quarter. It seems there are lots of shabby hostels in Hanoi but this place is an absolute gem - just didn't appear to be much of a social party place (making it all the better for those of us who just want to sleep!)

There is over 20 people in one room, so it can get pretty loud at night, but that’s also quite normal in hotels in this price range.

The staff is super nice and helpful, the common and breakfast area is perfect for working, if you need to. The toilets and showers are rather clean and in pretty good condition. The location is perfect, in the old town, close to everything.

One morning, when I had an early tour booked, I was downstairs at 6:45, they were already cooking breakfast for another guest, so I thought maybe I can get an early breakfast too (usually starts at 7) but they didn’t do it for me which I thought was not fair. Agree with other reviews, it is not a place to socialise and easily meet people, it is quite quiet and people kept to themself. Outside noise can be loud, but I guess that comes with the location and is not in the hands of the hostel.

Amazing location!! Most attractions are in walking distance. Freshly made beds every day. The breakfast was nice, there was a buffet and you had a choice of one main dish that was freshly prepared for you, which I thought was great. There was free tea, coffee and water all day long! Stayed in the big room on the second floor, which was fine. Some of the staff was really friendly.

Just a heads up that the mixed dorm is 22 beds - it was still very clean and relaxed considering this, but just something to bear in mind.

Great location in walking distance to sights and busy areas. Breakfast had a limited choice but nonetheless tasty. Warm foods like pancakes were make fresh by order. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I was not looking to socialize so didn't bother me, but didn't feel like the most social hostel. Next to it there is very social one so maybe you can just sleep here and socialize there! Also it would have been nicer to being able to control the AC by myself in dorm and not the workers, because sometimes it got too cold or hot

I've been to quite a bit of hostels but this must be the most well run I've been so far. Everything works super well and customer service is exceptional for a hostel. Very comfy beds and well mainteined facilities!

Staff was amazing, friendly and helpful with tours, recommendations and buses. Location was good, close to my tours what I had. Facilities are on the floor, toilets separated from showers which is quite useful and clean. :)

The establishment next door with their events that you will get broken sleep. The plugs in my room seemed to be quite worn when I used my plug adaptor it fall out so I would have to use my bags to keep it from falling out. Part from that I loved the place

Not the hostels fault, but the quality of guest is poor. The guests show. No respect to keeping the place tidy quite noisy at night as next door to a party hostel
