Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaNothing, other than the fact that a taxi back from old quarter might be expensive, and by that I mean $4-5, if you decide to stay out partying late into the night.
The location is out of the Old Quarter, which you may or may not like. Personally, I found the old quarter to be hectic, loud, and above all overpriced. Hanvet hotel is a $2 cab ride into old quarter, near a great park for strolls, and the nearby food is local delicious, and reasonably priced. Your hotel is serviced daily or every other day, depending on your wishes. The staff is minimal, but attentive. To preface, this is more a hotel for families visiting patients of the hospital nearby, or their children who may be students of the university nearby. That being said, they were very accomodating to us as tourists and made every effort to make us comfortable. While there is a language barrier, google translate easily circumvents any problems. Above all, it was quiet at night and allowed us to get great rest, away from the nonstop hustle and bustle of old quarter. If you don't mind a 10 minute cab ride, or enjoy walking around local neighbourhoods, this hotel is amazing for the price. Also, this hotel is quite new, and so the internet is incredibly fast!

Australiastaff doesn’t speak English at all at the reception, not even the basics which is too bad when you work in tourism… But once you communicate with Google Translate they are helpful but it’s a bit a pain to have to communicate everything with a translator even to ask basic questions like check out time…
