How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The only thing that could be improved was the matter of cleanliness.
The hotel was on a very good central location and the owner was very kind and helpful. It was a good spot for a short time of period and a good value for money.

This place never dissapoints, came here again and as previous review, i say its 5/5 budjet/super friendly staff and all you need to sleep comfortably and enjoy the services around the hotel.

The location of the hotel is on a fairly busy street in a busy area which is great for party goers but if your looking for a quiet trip, it’s not an ideal location. We were given a room on the 4th floor which was a lot of stairs in the hcmc heat!! Additionally, the main women was abit intense. She followed us out on to the straight after we said no to her question and followed us whilst asking the question again, however, the other ladies were super lovely!!

Excellent location, rooms are clean and spacious. The ladies who run this hotel are absolutely lovely and were so accommodating to us, allowing us to store our bags and shower before our night bus. After all their service they would still not take extra money. Very kind and very generous would definitely recommend!

Friendly owners. Excellent location. We were on the 6th floor which was quiet at night, not sure whether the same could be said about lower floors. Complementary breakfast was nice enough. This hotel is popular so book early.

Our room was quiet despite being in such an active location. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. There was a kettle and mini refrigerator. As with many places in Vietnam, there is no shower curtain, and there is no elevator. The hostess was very nice, and very helpful (helped communicate with our onward travel bus company, and arranged an inexpensive taxi). A very good value.

Very nice hotel with a great location near by restaurants and bars. Only a 20 minute walk to the main attractions of Saigon. The owners of the hotel are unbelievably helpful. They gave me free breakfast every day and were always ready to help with my requirements. Besides acomodation they exchange money (best rate I saw) , provide laundry service and can help you book tours and bus transportation to other cities. Great stay

Our room wasn't available when we arrived as somebody hadn't been able to check out. We weren't happy in our replacement room (further down the same road) so to be fair, she brought us to a few different places to try to get a room that we liked. Unfortunately we made the wrong choice and the bed was like a plank! We felt the other person should have been put somewhere else as the room was booked to us. Other than that all was good.
The owner was fab, very helpful, free breakfast, beer when we arrived in & some fruit. Launderette on site which was reasonable. No lift so beware if you have mobility issues. Bed wasn't bad (Asis beds are hard!) Very close to the madness but not too noisy really as its on a side street

Really homely comfortable place to stay. The staff are just wonderful. They pretty much provided everything, money exchange, clothing washing, excursions, motorcycle rental. I genuinely loved staying here and will be back again

Nothing but the narrow stairs might be an issue for some.
Great location and lovely staff. Bed is comfortable and facilities are as expected. The lady who runs the place is very nice and helpful. Had no problems sleeping as despite being near the noisy nightlife, the rooms are quiet.

I liked everything.
Excellent place, right in the middle of the action of bien vien walking street (although you dont hear noise from the street). The ladies who own the place are super friendly and insist they cook food for you once in a while. Room is clean and has everything you need. Would stay there again next time!

Nothing, everything was great!
This place is absolutely amazing and I couldn't recommend it enough. I felt so safe and looked after. The sisters who run the hotel are so lovely and friendly. Nothing was a problem for them, they even made me breakfast every morning. The room was spacious and clean,and I had a great sleep. You can ask for your room to be made up but I didn't think it was necessary as I only stayed a few days. I definitely regretted not staying longer as HCMC has so much to offer and this hotel is in a great location. But I was pressed for time so I had to move I will definitely stay here again if I visit HCMC. Highly recommend, especially for female travellers!

My family had a pleasant time staying here! The owner was helpful and friendly, the location was near both the Bui Vien Walking Street and Ben Thanh Market but in an alley, so not noisy at night. Plenty of eateries and restaurants offering diverse cuisines with a wide range of prices within walking distance of 5 to 10 minutes. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Saigon!
