this property bases on ancient house that is over 200 years, as said of staff. so that owner forms architecture as ancient ones. spaces are seamless and very interesting. So lovely. Distance to ancient town or beaches is acceptable by bicycle. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Dishes are tasty and worthy.

They need to upgrade to a more comfortable bed, pillows, and a stronger air conditioning specially during the summer season that goes up to 40 degrees Celsius.

Location is great, room is spacious, bathroom is clean and nice bathtub and water pressure.

The room was very nice and comfortable! They have free bikes to go for a ride what was a must! The location is 20-25 minutes from the old town but it’s easy to get walking. I would totally recommend this hotel for your stay in Hoi An.

Rooms were lovely, really spacious. We had connecting rooms which were great. Bathroom was excellent. Staff were lovely and really helpful. Pool was gorgeous and so much greenery around the place. Would definitely go there again.

maybe breakfast could be slightly improved, the asian options such as the fried rice and noodles werent all that tasty.

we really enjoyed our stay here during our visit to Hanoi and would always recommend and stay again. The location is great, lots of restaurants in walking distance, oldtown is maybe a 20mins walk but they have bikes which make each commute a nice experience, even when very hot. The hotel is impeccable, beautiful, comfortable and offers all you need, incl a great breakfast, nice staff and a realxing courtyard with pool for the hottest hours of the day. loved it all. we had an early flight to catch and they also packed us a breakfast and offered us a coffee and tea at 6.15am when breakfast wasnt yet on btw: we came using DaNangTransfer at 250k one way for a car with 2 ppl from and to Da Nang airport and train station and would recommend.

I think some of the usual things that would have been in place before the pandemic were only just getting back (and bear in mind occupancy of the hotel was quite low for a few days, much busier during a few holiday days). Breakfast was a little basic and there was no-one to staff the bar in the evenings

Worth noting at the time we went the SPA was not operational and there was no free shuttle bus! - Restraunt is very empty at night, better off eating outside of the hotel

We really enjoyed our stay Ancient House Resort! We arrived and were given one room, which we were not happy about it and they were kind and quick to help us change into two rooms, into something on the ground level and closer to pool. The layout of these rooms was bit better and meant we could use a hallway section to put the cot in so our toddler could have darker and slightly more removed space to sleep in! The location is a little way from the ancient town, about an 15/20 min walk to the river with all the lanterns etc or about a $5 cab ride. The place is little on the older side, which is part of it's charm! It's a quiet "resort" with a simple pool! The staff were wonderful and helped us arrange day tours, airport transfer and were so good with our toddler! Helping her pick fresh fruit and chatting to us daily!

There needs to be a rule about quiet hours. If you are a light sleeper, I would suggest asking for a room on the second floor or a room away from the pool. I had a room on the bottom floor right near the pool and people would stay up past midnight talking and making noise. Not the best experience trying to fall asleep. I had to put headphones in to block the noise.

The property was beautiful and in an amazing location. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

It’s about a 20 minute walk into town but bicycles are a nice option. You may want to use a taxi at night.

The property is quaint and quiet. A historic building with a lot of charm. There’s a nice garden and pool for cooling off. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Very good and helpful reception. Good breakfast, every day tasty and healthy and especially very friendly breakfast team. The situation not far from everything and very quiet, green and smart. Big family room with private terrasse. We spent a very good time all together in this friendly and comfortable Ancient House Resort. Don’t miss to visit The Ancient House on site and rice paper old factory always making goods as before! Very interesting for kids ( and adults!). Merci beaucoup Hoï An Ancient House Resort!

The hotel itself is getting old but is very clean, the garden is beautiful well maintained. The breakfast was good with plenty of pastries and bread too, egg station, pho station was also good. Most of the staff are very welcoming. My room was big and clean.

fhe front staff is blunt and not letting my family waiting for other western customers for checkin also on the first night the seems like they didnt set the right duvet. from second night we could enjoy proper bed duvet. also swimming pool is too hot to use during the day time. and the room is v wet and smell like mold
