How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There were some mosquitoes in my room.......maybe they came in via the bathroom? Perhaps spray room an hour before guests arrive.
Easy to find, happy and helpful staff with good English. Quiet room in a noisy area.

-WiFi was strong and reliable -Staff were friendly and helpful -Location was excellent. 5 min walk from walking street and central market underground mall and food court. -Surprisingly quiet given its location -Laundry service was good price and clothes came back smelling very nice -Socket by the bed -Cute dog that sometimes hangs out by reception :)

Great location next to walking street, bars and cafes. Best western coffee at end of the street. Quiet room facing the street with double glazed windows, sunlight and street view, recently renovated. Friendly and helpful family staff. Reasonable rates and stayed over 2 weeks

for a night out in crazy BuVien Street, this is a good location. Lots of choice for food, bars etc. But remeber this area is LOUD. Desk staff speak good English.

Street venders are pretty aggressive and persistant in District One. Don't sit at the front tables at the cafe's. But it's District One so you have to expect noise and hussle/bussle.
24 hour front desk, no problem for late check in or a delayed flight. Desk staff spoke good English. It has a lift.

we really enjoyed staying at the Hotel. the location is just right next to the walking street Bui Viên. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. It was hot day on the check out day, we were out the whole day and they helped us to have shower before our flight in the evening. the Hotel is very clean and looks new as they have just renovated the building. We will book the Hotel again when we back Ho Chi Minh City.

Our room had a strong cigarette smell and visible ash after cleaning, the location is very busy and feels less safe than other areas. Minimal included extras, no water, tea or coffee in the rooms. Shower temperature is not reliable.
If you want to be close to busy nightlife, clubs and drinking this is the hotel for you. Inside the rooms there is not too much noise from outside.

The building was in complete renovation so it was a bit of a mess. The bed was hard, as it's common in Vietnam. The shower water pressure was really low. There was no lift and we were on the 3rd floor. They seem to be building one though.
It was really close to the wharf so really easy to walk down and see the markets during the day and night. The room was clean and the staff were helpful and allowed us to check out slightly late after coming back from our boat trip. The AC worked well too and the fridge.

They majorly over charged me booking.com quote was $67 they told me eftpos was down made me get local money out which I didn’t have a good understanding of the conversation and it wasn’t till I checked my account to know they had actual change me $130! Don’t stay at this hotel.
