How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

After a pleasant welcome of juice and fresh fruit, we were also given a room upgrade. The location is very close to the tourist area and walking streets but set far enough away to be quiet. The room and facilities provided everything we needed, especially appreciating the AC as temperatures reached 40 degrees. A breakfast choice each morning and fresh water provision all assisted in providing a great stay with a fabulous hostess.

Fabulous location in the city centre ,close to bars and restaurants.Lauren and her staff made us feel very welcome,breakfast was great and we even had a take away breakfast for our early morning check out .We hired a moped for the day from Lauren ,and had an amazing time sightseeing around the city.Our room was amazing with floor to ceiling windows.We would definitely stay again when we visit Hue 🥰

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The welcome drink and fruit wàs just what i needed after a long day of travelling. They also gave me a map which highlighted places to visit and nice restaurants etc. The room had everything that ì needed, and everything was within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again when I'm back in the area.

The hostess was super nice and helpful. We were able to do an early check-in. Event though hotel is close to night market, there was no noise. We had a cozy room with a nice view.

The mattresses in our room needed upgrading
The hotel is well positioned and the staff especially Laura are just lovely. The breakfast was great and you could order more if you wanted.

This was a lovely property in a very convenient location. It was in an alley and walkable to tons of things! They were super helpful getting things set up and just a lovely family!

The rooms are very nice and clean, I had beautiful view of trees and a bit of the river. The bed is comfortable. The hotel is very well situated in a silent side street in the city center. Shops and restaurants are near. For breakfast you can choose what you like. You also get fresh fruit for breakfast and - very friendly - also when you arrive. The owner - above all I have to thank Ms. Laura - take very good care of the guests, giving big efforts for helping in any way. So one feels warm welcomed. I like much to stay again at Hue Four Seasons Hotel next time when I come to Vietnam.

Laura and her husband were great hosts! They made our stay incredible <3 From early check-in, extra breakfast to quick laundry. The room was bright, clean and comfortable.

Laura and her family were extremely welcoming, going above and beyond at every aspect of our stay. Breakfast was great, with lots and choice and we were always offered more food if we wanted. The pool is great! Lots of good restaurants around. Laura also provided a map and recommended places to go which was extremely helpful.

There was nothing we didn’t like, the two-night stay was wonderful!
Laura and her family were so kind and accommodating during our stay at the Four Seasons Hotel! Great location that’s close to the centre but down a quiet road. Great breakfast and comfortable room with amazing views!! Highly recommend this lovely hotel as the place to stay when visiting Hue!!

We only stayed for one night.
Lovely friendly people. Laura and family were wonderful. We arrived after a long train trip and she welcomed us with my name and cool drinks. After we left we had forgotten some of our money and her husband followed us to the bus to give it back to us. What can I say. Another reason we love Vietnam and the people here.

I can't think of anything.
Laura and her team were brilliant. So helpful. On arrival they gave us complimentary juice and fruit, which really helped. Hotel organized taxi collection at airport. Simple and relatively cheap. We booked a DMZ tour through Laura and it was good / well organized. The small pool out back was pleasant - the sun is on it in the afternoon. Food was good. Room was great. 5-10 minute walk to the main parts of Hue. The small road is relatively quiet considering how close to the city it is.

Laura and her family are very nice, warm and helpful. They have maps ready for guests and lots of good advice and recommendations. We arrived early morning and got free breakfast - just beacause our room wasnt ready yet for early check-in
