The WiFi was good, but if used for uploading videos it doesn’t work well.

The host was attentive, nice place close to everything. Clean and comfortable! The kitchen was a super nice addition.

I didn't realize it comes with a separate bathroom, so it was a bit incovenient. Also my room is the one on the highest floor, and the elevator can only go up to the second highest floor, so I had to carry my suitcase down 1 floor to use the mini elevator.

Location is great. Owner is very communicative. The place is really clean. The small elevator is actually a smart touch though it takes quite a bit of time cause you can only fit 1 suitcase / person per trip.

Location was nice for us. A few places to eat and drink at. Communication with the host was good. Room was good for us. We stayed on the 3rd floor, small lift to get up. I liked the lift and we’re healthy enough to walk up and down the stairs with bags so that was ok for us.

Our stay at HUYEN was a recommendable one absolutely!!!! The place was clean and WIFI was so fast.....i think Vietnam has a good WIFI coverage, very impressive. This is not really a con (as it’s not something the owners can change) but just know there can be a lot of stairs to climb if you stay on the upper levels. There is a small elevator but it is very small. It did not bother me at all but if you are traveling with someone older or disabled, it may be a challenge.

Really cute building tucked away from the bustling streets of Saigon. I cannot rave about the owner more! She is amazing! My debit card got eaten by the atm during the Lunar New Year and she opened up a booking for me to stay until I got it back AND gave me a discount! In addition to the great staff, the room was very comfortable and clean and the location of the building is amazing. Great cafes, restaurants, and coffee shops along the street and it is very close to the popular tourist destinations without being in the middle of the craziness. I especially loved the balcony! Will definitely book at Huyen next time I am in Saigon!

The view from the windows is blocked by the next building , so privacy can be kept only by closing the curtains. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low.

A good place to stay for a couple of nights. Close to a number of restaurants, cafes and other culinary options. Also the ride from the airport is relatively short. The owner is nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and suited our needs.

The cleanliness. The area (a lot of food shops and cafés and an exceptionally tasty bun bo nearby) The tiny elevator (the main reason I booked this place) even though I had to carry the heavy suitcase until the last floor because the elevator doesn't go there (floor 4).

They do have an elevator but it’s only big enough for 1 person, so you usually just take the stairs. Not really the homestays fault but one morning a young girl who lived close-by was crying and screaming non-stop for an hour straight in the morning. She would not stop shouting and screaming. Maybe this was just a one time thing but it was very frustrating when trying to relax in bed in the morning.

Nice homestay/hotel in a convenient area in D1 HCMC. The owner arranged taxi pickup for us from the airport and was very helpful to any questions we had. The room and bed were comfortable, and the shower was hot. The street has lots of shops and close food options.

A very nice guest house. My room had a balcony, good wifi. The cleanliness was amazing. The room had a refrigerator, iron, hair dryer, water. The location of the guest house is good. All attractions are within walking distance. Convenient registration.

As mentioned in the reviews before, the elevator is very small and was not working for a few hours when we were there. It did not bother us but maybe not ideal for people who are not very mobile.

I loved the apartment, got one at the last floor and the whole floor was mine. Apartment has a huge balcony. It was so comfortable and feel like home. The owner was very helpful and she responded immediately to my messages. I was able to make a laundry and to use a dryer, that was really helpful for me.

homestay so gotta use stair, not too bad, got a tiny lift for your luggage towels cleaned often but a bit old so see some stain shower water is very very weak but consider it is a homestay we didnt mind it overall for the value and location we think it is exceptional
