For us, the bed was too soft and it was very noise from the streets, but this seems to be normal in that area.

The chicken waking us up at 5 am was a surprise :)

Service was top notch. We arrived at midnight and Jan was there to open for us and check us in. The rooms are very good, the breakfast is delicious, and we're happy we came! As much as the location is very central and close to the bars, it's not noisy at night.

We decided to leave the city a day early as it was too hot for us arriving from a cold London. The owner was amazing in helping us changing our flights and persisted in getting through to the airline long after we would have given up.

The rooster that crowed from 5am all day - was very disruptive to sleeping. It stated that we would get a TV in our room however this wasn't the case.

Our room was in a side building, not the one with the reception, and the room did not looked like the pictures, however it was fine.

The room was basic but functional. It is in a quiet lane just back Bui Vien. The mini fridge was very handy. The owners are very kind, we arrived early in the morning and still they prepared the room for us before check in time.

We loved our stay here! The location is perfect, and although close to the bars, we had no problem with the noise. We saw the rooms in both buildings and both are clean and tidy. The breakfast was really tasty, with fruits always included, and really good coffee. Jan, her husband and their staff are amazing, always trying to help you, and so so friendly! We felt at home here :) PS: best mattress I ever slept on!

Very clean bedroom and bathroom in a very central location. The staff here are so kind and go above and beyond to make sure you are looked after. They also help with recommendations for tours, buses and places to eat. Will definitely stay here again before heading back home from Ho Chi Minh!

I would suggest windows in the room, but later I found out that in the city as Ho Chi Minh is you have to upgrade your room with window.

Location is perfect, less than 200m from walking street, where at night all the parties started. Breakfast was great, rooms were clean and the staff is polite.

There were small ants crawling especially in the bathroom area. No shower curtain dividing shower from toilet so bathroom was always wet & no 2 people can use facilities at the same time. Shower drain was slow in draining so there was a pool of water accumulating on the floor. Had a kettle for coffee but no teaspoon or stirrer.

Location is right in the heart of District 1. Close by to most of the places we went to. Accessible actually by walking but since there was a heat wave, Grab was the best option to go anywhere. The hotel was located inside an alley but it seems that a lot of hotels do. Even if the hotel was small, I'm impressed it had a lift even if it could only accommodate 2 persons at a time. Breakfast was just okay. Jan was very nice in putting us on the same floor as we were a group of 4 even if the other room we booked originally was situated on a different floor. The one she assigned to us was a bigger room at no extra charge. Thank you for the accommodation!

Everything was perfect!

The room was clean and comfortable (very comfortable beds). Many sights (museums, historical buildings, markets, etc.) are within walking distance. Despite the proximity to the party mile, the room is quiet at night. The staff is very friendly and helps you with everything, like organizing your onward journey, etc. The breakfast was great, we could even choose from various options (Vietnamese or western breakfast). We would love to come back. Many thanks to the lovely staff for allowing us to enjoy our stay so much!
