the pool didn’t look like the pictures, it was green so many of us didn’t go inside. they didn’t want to provide with a breakfast at 5:50. the staff don’t speak English so prepare simple sentences in Vietnamese.

Eventho the service was amazing, the hotel seemed to be missing a few things at our time of arrival. The Spa service that they are supposed to be having was „under maintenance“. The gym they told us about wasn’t anywhere to find. The spot where it was supposed to be was filled with chairs and tables, pretty much has been used as some sort of storage. Additionally the room was pretty loud. You couldn’t hear what was going on outside of the hotel, nonetheless you were able to hear everything that is happening inside the floors. The sound of the escalator could be heard throughout the whole hotel (even if it stopped on a different floor than the one we were staying in). The air conditioner at some point stops by itself. Throughout the night the room temperature rose immensely, which made us wake up drowned in sweat, wondering whether the air conditioner was broken. As we noticed it multiple times it occured to us that it just stops after some time. For people who are planning to stay for a longer period of time, they might be missing cupboards.

The breakfast was great. A lot to choose from and a great view from above, since it is available on the highest floor. The service was great. We asked them to clean our room later than they usually would and there was no issue with that. Something that was missing for us was a safe, which we asked them about. It wouldn’t have been available for our room but they were nice enough to bring us one. The bed was comfortable and great to lay in compared to the vietnamese standard of rock hard beds. Shower and toilet are separated.

Toan Tháng is small hotel. But it has everything you need. Hotel view from 15th is awesome. Can’t expect more with that price. Book it, guys. :)

… the pool is a health risk in its current state and basically unusable most of the day. It is relatively small but they have swim lessons for children throughout the day rendering it overcrowded and strongly diminishing the experience. The water smelled unclean, there are lots of hairs in it, and me and my two friends got sick right after swimming in there. I got diarrhea and an inflamed nose, both of my friends got a soar throat. I strongly recommend avoiding that pool and hope that the hotel will improve on its hygiene.

This is one of the best hotels in Vinh, the rooms are nice, comfy and clean, the view is great, the staff is friendly and competent, the breakfast is plentiful, BUT…

The room has a strong smell of dust and moisture and is not soundproof enough. Cleaning staff moving in the hallway at night can be heard clearly.

Pool closed. Spa closed. Restaurant closed except for breakfast. No compensation or discount offered. Paid 630000vnd for laundry. Have been travelling 5 years and have NEVER paid that much to have laundry done. Staff indifferent, no smiles. No one speaks English here. Staff unable to offer local restaurant suggestions.

Bed comfortable. Lots of hot water. Huge variety of Vietnamese food for breakfast. Quiet even though on a main road. N was a great help to book our onward travel.

we were on the 12th floor with floor to ceiling glass walls. not really comforting for someone whose not crazy about heights 🤨
